At least i can take comfort I'm getting a summer holiday (not a sunny one) for paying over €600 for my Manchester standing ticket

Zak Starkey no longer with the Who, could mean he's doing Oasis tour? Or have they confirmed the full lineup

  • Moderators, Music Moderators Posts: 16,162 Mod ✭✭✭✭Furious-Red

Ah didn't realise he was fired, the headline I seen just said he left/no longer with the band

Why would he be ruled out of an Oasis reunion tour if he was fired from The Who?

It might have been the very reason for the bust up with Daltrey?

cause it’s been leaked that’s it’s the drummer from atoms of the peace.
Oasis wouldn’t be waiting on Zak to get himself fired as there plan

Most likely alright - I was never a fan of Zaks drumming anyway. Hopefully Joey Waronker will bring some drive and life to the Oasis tunes. He toured with Liam and Squire and seemed like a solid session musician.

Looks Zak is still with the Who after all

I got resale tickets 2 sets standing and seated. Got the seated first €1190 for 2 tickets and then managed to nab standing which I prefer for €1050 I must be bloody mad. Will have to try get rid of the seated but will prob wait until closer the time as not available to transfer yet will just be hoping to get my money back. I’ve no summer holiday this year so that’s how I’m trying to justify it 😂😂

'OASIS’ management put arrangements in place to keep LIAM and NOEL GALLAGHER SEPARATE BACKSTAGE in order to PREVENT WARRING.

The Sun is reporting that at Oasis’ upcoming reunion gigs, the band’s management have made arrangements to keep the recently reunited brothers separate. According to the publication, Noel and Liam Gallagher have been given completely separate green rooms and after-party spaces.

“Each of them had a VIP list where their friends and famous fans could buy their tickets,” a source told the publication. “But depending on which brother you got your ticket off, it’s their green room and after-party you’re invited to.

“So if you’re on Noel’s list but fancy going across to say hello to Liam, it’s going to be a case of trying to blag entry. It seems like they are totally separate events.

“It’s gutting for people who want to hang out with both of them but it seems they’re keeping it all at a distance.”'

I see some tickets on ticketmaster now, anyone thinking of paying those prices for those particular seats would need to be mindful of the fact that your view in the Lower Davin stand is going to be impeded by soundstages and the raised disabled platform section on the pitch.

Went to see U2 a few years back and seated in this particular section of the ground. They should be advertised as restricted viewing.

Yeah, Davin Stand tickets go up pretty regularly tbh.

I'd say anyone who really wants to go would be better aiming for Wembley.

In the last 24 hours, there's been:

    6 separate tickets x £197 (Block 126)

    3 x £150 (Block 515)

    2 x £118 (Block 552)

Both 126 and 552 seem to offer good views, although 515 is opposite end of stadium to stage (similar to Davin basically).

Recommend subscribing to Pyngo if you're really keen.

Youre barely at the gig in the lower Dav. 100 metres away from the stage with a restricted view.

Some sections in the upper Davin Stand wouldn't be too bad

Saw U2 from there. Sound was great but couldnt see anything really.

Those tix were oly 40 quid though.

Be lucky to get a few pints and a hot dog for €40 nowadays

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,246 ✭✭✭✭The Nal

Those Croker hotdogs shouldn't be allowed to be classed as food. We have laws for this stuff.

When I was at the U2 gig seated there, everyone was shifting left to right, right to left to follow Bono on the stage. It was a bit of a joke. They were face value tickets and a lesson learned. If I was to purchase a 500E ticket and had the same experience I'd be sick.

1 upper on there now for Sunday 183 euro

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 41,151 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

was it a resale or standard ticket ?

Snapped up pretty quick whatever it was

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,907 ✭✭✭mightyreds

Resale it sat there for about 20 minutes, I went to checkout and then changed my mind

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 41,151 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

Same with me last night and that price, by the time pay it was gone

Ah well I paid enough for Manchester so I'll go enjoy that and try my luck for Dublin then
