Vern here avoids Gabs questioning seeking opinions. I suppose if they have no opinions yet so early, its a fair response but also a way of wolf sitting on the fence potentially. I can read this either way.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 2,715 ✭✭✭Fiona WW

I'd agree with this. Vernon most likely not a member of the strike team

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 1,078 ✭✭✭Senan WW

Brendan providing thoughts on Babs death. So not so half arsed.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 2,715 ✭✭✭Fiona WW

Agreed here. Take the shadow votes into account also

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,236 ✭✭✭Steve WW

    On lunch break.

I'm still none the wiser regarding this investigation, but it was released by this time yesterday, so it's not looking good regarding being successful on my task.

Why didn't you participate in the shoot / peek game last night?

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 5,361 ✭✭✭Conor WW

You realise that useless now after the fact? Why didn't you participate last night?

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 1,078 ✭✭✭Senan WW

Fiona here shutting down theories. Not saying shes wrong in her opinion, but her demands to look elsewhere are unnecessary. Why not keep an open mind.

Wolves could easily shoot someone for naming them, we dont know what info the wolves have and to discount it is silly.

Would a wolf shut things down though? Probably not,

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 1,078 ✭✭✭Senan WW

Brendan here trying to work things out. Could easily be village thoughts to be fair.

Lets say Bren is a wolf though, is he trying to sew confusion here? Probably

    IA announcement Monday 10.10am

    [CONFIDENTIAL] INTERNAL AFFAIRS DIVISION

From the Desk of: Lt. John Kavanaugh

    Case File #IA-0951-88

    Subject: Strike Team

    Status: UNDER ACTIVE INVESTIGATION

    ---

    Synopsis:

Over the past [REDACTED] months, multiple concerning behaviors have been documented regarding Detective Vic Mackey and his fellow Strike Team members. Subject is suspected of maintaining unauthorized connections with known organized crime figures, specifically the Armenian mob. Discrepancies noted in evidence handling, missing funds, and obstruction of investigations targeting [REDACTED].

    Incident Highlights:

January 9, 2025: Surveillance placed Ben Gilroy, an associate of the Strike Team at Il Vetro Lounge — a recognized front for illicit and illegal prostitution operations — for over 17 hours.

February 3, 2025: Seizure of narcotics shipment from Pier 14 mysteriously rerouted. Only parties aware of shipment timing: Strike Team task force, incl. Detective Shane Vendrell.

March 21, 2025: Confidential informant “Sparrow” found deceased under suspicious circumstances 48 hours after meeting with Gilroy.

    Evidence Collected:

    • Wire transfers traced from offshore account ending in [REDACTED] to a shell corporation linked to Detective Ronnie Gardocki.

    • Missing physical evidence from locker 17B (log tampered).

    • Audio recording (partial, poor quality) implicating Detective Curtis 'Lemonhead' Lemansky in coordination of street-level operations.

    Officer Statement Summary:

Formal interview with Detective Mackey scheduled for April 25th was no-show. Unconfirmed sightings place subject at [REDACTED] safehouse. Subject's current whereabouts unknown.

    Notes:

Risk of subjects having already "flipped" to external interests is HIGH.

Lethal force authorization pending under Directive 17-C if contact is made.

Command advises discretion. Open knowledge of internal corruption would devastate public trust and ignite media firestorm.

    Remarks:

Subjects are not acting alone. Preliminary links drawn between Detective Mackey, Strike Team members and Ben Gilroy.

Further investigation into Strike Team advised each night. Further reports may be forthcoming.

    Next Steps:

Black-bag operation approved. Team assembly in progress (clearance: Eyes Only).

Warrant preparation paused. Chain of command interference suspected through Gilroy’s previous police connections

Maintain operational silence until retrieval or neutralization of subject.

    Signed,

    Lt. John Kavanaugh

    CONFIDENTIAL – INTERNAL AFFAIRS DIVISION

    Memorandum

    FROM: Lt. John Kavanaugh

    TO: IAD Oversight Committee

SUBJECT: Anomalous Behavioral Analysis – Strike Team & Embedded Operatives

    DATE: April 28, 2025

    ---

    Executive Summary:

During an embedded observational exercise framed within a role-based psychological simulation (codename: “Mafia Scenario Delta”), two individuals ("Operatives X and Y") exhibited resistance patterns that suggest awareness of deep-seated criminal conspiracies operating under the guise of law enforcement — namely, the Strike Team led by Det. Vic Mackey.

It should be made clear that while these summaries are extensive, not enough is known about these individuals to draw conclusions of their allegiances - our investigators will know their true intentions, or so we believe.

Despite their claimed non-involvement of operations either within OR assisting The Strike Team, Operatives X and Y demonstrated behavioral markers consistent with distrust, calculated silence, and, notably, strategic inquiry directed toward Det. Vendrell and the infiltrator Ben Gilroy — both of whom displayed signs of false evidence planting and vote-shifting on elimination cycles.

    ---

    Subject Profiles & Findings:

    1. Vic Mackey (Strike Team Alpha):

Observed directing conversation away from key associates. Demonstrated strong influence over town proceedings. Noted manipulation of town sentiment through false flags and performative outrage. Suspected ringleader of the embedded unit. Considered highly dangerous and should be approached with caution due to his manipulative tendencies.

Update: Mackey stabbed in the Barn last night, condition grim and unlikely to recover. Can be considered apprehended and eliminated.

    2. Shane Vendrell:

Exhibited erratic defense tactics when questioned, followed by coordinated defense from Det. Gardocki within 12-second windows. Possible trigger-response dynamic. Likely second-in-command.

Update: Vendrell apprehended last night. Unfortunately DOA. Eliminated.

    3. Curtis Lemansky:

Lower verbal profile. May serve as silent anchor to avoid detection. Displayed patterns that may be able to save a team member in great distress.

    4. Ronnie Gardocki:

Technical communicator. Encrypted-style dialogue and calculated defense mechanisms. Impossible for even our most skilled investigators to determine his true nature.

    5. Ben Gilroy

Past affiliations and simulation patterns suggest passive collaboration. May be a "Godfather" archetype — a role appearing innocent to investigative powers but complicit in criminal direction. More analysis needed. Should be considered highly dangerous and deceptive. Not considered to be an active Strike Team member but instead working from “the fringes”.

Update: De Facto leader in absentia with Mackey and Vendrells elimination. Considered now as highest priority target.

    ---

    Operative Analysis:

    Operative X aka @Gabriel WW & Operative Y aka @Conor WW :

Their actions — voting inconsistencies, probing inquiries, and pursuit of group divergence — indicate either advanced simulation understanding or latent investigative intent, however caution should be advised in placing immediate trust.

Impossible based on this report to determine their allegiances or identities. Investigators who are again, need-to-know, will have a clearer picture here but may be befuddled by false aliases.

Recommendations: Extraction protocols or behavioral deep-dive pending further cycles.

    ---

    Conclusion:

The Strike Team is operating as a covert cell within Farmington, effectively manipulating procedural trust and exploiting narrative role mechanics. Gilroy's current alignment is a liability.

If left unchecked, the remainder of Mackey’s faction will dominate the board — in-game and in precinct reality.

    End of Report

    —Lt. John Kavanaugh

You were back online minutes after Derry gets shot though so you can see how it appears sus, right?

You did name Derry earlier as your shadow vote but naming someone in a non-binding vote is different to naming someone when you're pretty sure that there's a real peek/bullet on the table

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,236 ✭✭✭Steve WW

What do you want to know. Looks like there's no investigation report today, so i don't get any more info.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,258 ✭✭✭Clodagh WW

I was gone to bed by the time you asked

I would have had Steve as peek or shoot, conor as protect, and probably Brendan taking the last spot.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 1,078 ✭✭✭Senan WW

Who do you think is behind these posts?

Do you think John Kavanaugh is a roled player within the game?

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 1,078 ✭✭✭Senan WW

I can't say for sure. Its likely.

If you believe me that kind of clears me (IF you believe me). The wolves tried to tap me up.

How did the wolves (or whoever setup the safe room) know that Corrine was a Mason? There's no way that's a conincidence

The only thing I can think of is that Frank (Corrine) set it up but then why would he lie about who he was in there?

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 1,078 ✭✭✭Senan WW

Brendan became very active after Babs died.

Wolves usually like to chime in to push a narrative or a direction after a death, or at least sew confusion. Bren could easily be doing this with his multiple posts post Babs death. It gives me bad vibes if Im honest.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 2,715 ✭✭✭Fiona WW

This is true for sure and I'm glad you highlighted it. Just couldn't play when I was eating out unfortunately. If you haven't had Re Nao in Galway I can recommend it.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 5,361 ✭✭✭Conor WW

This seems to confirm 5 wolves in total so with 2 gone, that's 3 remaining.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,312 ✭✭✭Wendy WW

My presumption up till now was they were weird seer peaks, tbh. That someone picked two names and got vague hints about their alignment.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 2,715 ✭✭✭Fiona WW

Seems to be the case but that's a lot of wolves, surprised.

Good shout. Depends on the wolf though, not all will do that. I think the Tegan train night one there was a wolf, and it's not me or Wendy so my good list of Brendan and Wendy has Brendan removed now

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 1,078 ✭✭✭Senan WW

Now this could be Bren trying to play down Tegan here. Angus is a dog with a bone at this point and maybe this is an attempt to get both the heat off Tegan by playing down Angus's thoughts and also cosy up to Angus.

Probably for me is, I also tried to play down the Lemmy thing, so Bren could just have the same mindset as me, although we can both do the same thing and have different intentions. Worth noting all the same.

Ive no real read on Riona. So will be hopefully able to get a better picture.

Shes the Ronnie of the game (as in shes easily forgetable, not that shes a wolf)
