Which would be the cheapest/best option? Would anyone have a rough idea on price for an 18ft x 10ft shed?

    Thanks in advance

A block shed with roof tiles and foundation and insulated floor will be expensive, I built mine with some help and it cost about 7k+ without anything done to the inside. Mine is about 10ft ×14ft.

Great thanks for that info it gives us some guidance. We are thinking of galvanised roofing and we also have people to help so hopefully we wouldnt be a million miles off the 7k

I had the same dilemma a few years back.Went with the steel shed.

Its 8m x 6m with drip proof cladding on the inside.

Price wise it was probably dearer to go with blocks and that was with doing most of the work myself.

It's there 6 years now and is as good as new still.Dry as a bone too.

I suppose it depends on what you want to use it for too.

Steel all the way for me.

Hi there. Just found your story about steel shed as we are on the crossroads between block and steel sheds. May I ask where you got it from and at what price (if you remember of course)?

It would help us out greatly. Thanks

Hi, We ended up going with blocks and insulated kingspan cladding on the roof. Delighted we did now. It's a permanent structure and blends in lovely with the house. W

I'm sort of answering a question you put to some one else but just to give you an idea or prices of steel sheds (not drip) 5m x 3m (17' x 10') €3,900 , 6m x 3m (20' x 10') €4,000 , 7m x 3m (23' x 10') €5,000 These prices are for supply & fit - you will have to pour a concrete slab (which will be the sheds floor) prior to erecting of shed.

If shed is near house consider going for block built with roof, walls, windows etc. finished to match house - it will cost a few dollars extra of course but it will last and has more class and will enhance the value of your house.
