    I posted the below on the Amazon IE thread as well.

    I bought a phone and phone case on IE on the 17th, the phone arrived yesterday the case is showing as left courier facility and arriving Monday. I ordered screen protectors and another shock proof case on AliExpress the same day. They are both being delivered tomorrow so an order from China is getting delivered before an Amazon Ireland order. I will be staying with my UK account as long as possible. That's a joke.

    Don't expect anything from life, just be grateful to be alive.

    It was shipped initially via Cainiao so i'm not sure if they operate in the Eu.

    it may not be an ideal tablet, but put a price alert on Fire 10 (9th and 10th Gen) and Fire Max 11. I got a 9th Gen 10 for £42 and a Max 11 for £92 late last year

    this 9th gen 10 is available for about €90 currently - still a decent saving

    i haven't done it, but they can be reconfigured to android as far as i know

    I changed my sons fire 11 to android, like the old style of jail breaking I guess and it’s much better

    Xiaomi C75 phone

    6gb/128gb v 8gb/256gb

    Not sure about other phone brands but on my Xiaomi X4 Pro 5G (hyper OS) Ive never my usage go over 5gb ram or 90gb storage. I guess if you're into gaming or have a lot of apps open / save a lot of video etc. you'll use more. The C75 is low spec. Im not sure it would be any good for gaming or heavy usage. Its a basic phone at a basic price. In my opinion paying an extra 33% for the ram / storage bump on this spec phone isn't worth it but depends on storage needs.

    At the end of the day, the processor is the primary spec you'd want to be looking at in a phone as no amount of RAM will save a phone with a terrible processor.

    Often these cheap Chinese phones add a ridiculous amount of RAM and buyers can't understand why the phone runs at a snails pace.

    C75 is a phone Id get for someone like my father who would use whatsapp, calls, his vhi app + a hearing aid app and nothing else.

    those cheap phones are usually fine until you get your first Android version update, then they start to really slow down.

    Of course you can just buy another cheap phone then, but from experience some of them are duds from the start - I changed 3 times in the space of 6 months as 2 of the phones had serious issues with overheating or stability. It's a bit of a lottery.
