Gas leak in campervan

    My little converted van has a gas bottle in a compartment at the rear and a little 3-ring stove in the kitchenette area.

    Lately I'm smelling gas under the stove…I'm pretty sure we have a leak.

    Can anyone recommend a gas fitter or van converter who can trouble-shoot this? It's probably quite a simple repair - either the seals at joints, or the tube itself, or possibly the valves to the burners. The smell is in the stove area, not beside the bottle.

    No recommend but some RGI will look for you.

    Your gas bottle compartment should have a drop vent to allow any leakage to escape. Your living compartment won't have this, which is why you should turn off the gas at the bottle when not in use.

    Would you not troubleshoot it yourself? The old liquid soap dilution like you'd use to find a puncture in a tube. It may be a simple enough diy fix.
