    Cena's promos since he turned heel haven't worked for me at all, should've just gone with the rapper gimmick in my opinion.

    Currently in Canada so watched live. That is exactly what a Raw after Mania should be imo. The odd surprise but mostly pulling on what they have to set up new storylines and mixing things up a bit. Should feel like a Season premiere where as Wrestlemania is the season finale.

    Randy vs Cena was bound to happen and I think this promo was the best Cena has looked as a heel so far.

    I'm happy for Liv/Raquel to have won and Becky turning on Lyra was good (even though the crowd don't care for Lyra) but I wish the hadn't decimated the tag division to get here. It sets up a good story though and Liv and Raquel are better as champs. So Sami is turning on Jey, but when?

    Iyo and Stephanie… That absolutely slapped! I was convinced they were gonna end it in shenanigans quickly but we got a quality match that protected both of them. Was hoping Asuka was going to confront Iyo tbh. I really want Rhea to have time away from the title picture but liked Roxanne and Giulia getting some main roster exposure.

    Gunther killing Pat, was one of the most intriguing things of the night. Hope it doesn't end with a McAfee match. Hope Pat is gone for a bit too, he's gotten annoying on commentary.

    Bron as a Heyman guy and a faction with Seth is gonna rule. Exactly what should be done to send Bron to the next level. Punk and Roman teaming up could be a good story too.

    Other than that, Rusev is back, still not sure where he'll fit but liked his assault here. Shocked that JD was back so quick and hope they don't drag the Finn/Dom split too long cause it feels like they will.

    Have they just set up one of next year's Mania main events, Rollins v Breaker?

    Bron does not need to be someone's heavy. He is well on his way without that. But this can get him out of IC title status and place him just under the World title picture. He was a potential rumble winner for next year anyway but this could really push him forward....

    Once they treat him like a big deal and he doesn't end up taking loads of damage for Rollins. They probably need to treat him like they treated Jacob Fatu under Solo for it to work.

    Bron joining with Seth is brilliant, and a proper rocket being strapped on his back. Saw someone on Reddit say that this is Seth assembling his form of Evolution, with Heyman as Flair and Bron as Batista AND Orton. Giving Bron the chance to destroy Punk and Roman was great, and the camera angle on that Punk spear was incredible (thought he was going to hit Seth too).

    Iyo vs Steph was brilliant. Gunther destroying Pat was cathartic. The RKO was brilliant too.

    First time in a few years I've felt that was a proper "Raw After Mania".

    Rusev would be a decent foil for Jey at some point actually. Sami is definitely turning on him too at some point that might end up being a match at SummerSlam

    As an aside, I do think commentators should be wary of wrestlers again.

    Or at least, Cole shouldn't just get to run his mouth at a guest commentator, for example, in a world where disputes are resolved by punching the problem.

    Can picture Tony seeing Rusev and thinking "I thought he was still in catering here".

    It did feel a bit like they were trying to figure out where they could bring him out and so just decided on that segment.

    I was wondering with the reaction JD was getting online after his injury, would they make a big deal of his return. I guess not. I'd be surprised if he's fully recovered so I'd say he'll be in a non wrestling capacity for a while.

    While the Stephanie/Roxanne match was great to see and the shenanigans were expected, I'm surprised at what happened. Like there was no sign of Giulia and Roxanne working together in NXT, so suddenly working together here kinda makes it feel like NXT events aren't canon. Will see if it's addressed on NXT this week. Also considering the women's title segment involved 3 NXT women, were any of them being called up? Think Roxanne is due the call up since she only made it to the tag match on the preshow for S&D.

    Well one positive about Lyra losing the tag titles is that Tatum can stop worrying about having to compete against her "Sweet dove".

    Referring to Bron as a Paul Heyman guy does make me think he's on track to be, maybe not the next, but like Lesnar.

    I've done a full 180 on Kross, even before the great promo the other day I was on board with him but that has definitely put him up a level. He was the most 5/10 wrestler to me with Scarlett being the only reason to look up from your phone whenever he was on TV but his promos and presence have really come along.

    I think if they push ahead with this "influencer killer" gimmick and have him put Logan Paul on the shelf for a few months, fans would get behind him big time.

    Speaking of wrestlers who are only worth watching for their valet, Rusev is back...

    She's a good worker but I think Lyra needs a bit of character development or she'll start getting booed. Coming out smiling every week isn't gonna cut it long term. Becky will get cheered in their inevitable match I assume. Might've made more sense to turn Lyra.
