Aer Lingus app and website - can't get in to either

Is anyone else having difficulty the last few weeks getting in to the Aer Lingus app and website?

When I try to log in, and put in my email and password, I get an error message telling me to check my login details or change my password.

I'm 100% sure the login details are correct, but I've tried to change my password anyhow, but no recovery email ever comes.

It's exactly the same with the website.

I've been at this over a couple of weeks now, at the start I was getting an occasional pop-up saying there were communication difficulties or something along those lines - I assumed it was a glitch with the app at the time but it's still the same two weeks later.

I've uninstalled and re-installed the app, tried via every channel to talk to a human but can only get a bot that provides no help whatsoever and is completely and utterly useless.

I have a flight coming up with them in two weeks time, and am at a loss as to how I'm meant to check in if I can't get in to the app or website.

Am I missing something blindingly obvious here, or does anyone know how I can get to talk to an actual human to see what's going on?

It’s working fine for me, not sure what you can do tbh but regarding checking in, you should still be able to do that anyway! And kiosk/desk check in is still an available free option for aer lingus

Don't need to log in to check in just booking ref+surname

I have seen this happen the odd time with badly coded websites where old cookies seem to interfere with the website

You can clear cookies and caches and it "should work" but then all useful stuff remembered for other websites is gone.

Best just open a private or incognito window and see if that works.

Alternatively try in a different browser. Some websites might only be properly tested on say Chrome, but don't work properly on safari or edge or firefox etc, or vice versa, so trying other options might help
