Secondhand graphics cards

    Looking at upgrading an old PC I was just wondering is buying second hand graphics card a bad idea or is it alright ? I was thinking of buying from the Cex shop in town

    bad idea unless in a second hand gaming laptop. yes, I've bought laptops in Cex, the best second hand one I got there was a heavy but good Dell 7440 - cost me € 385 in 2018 from Cex in Nutgrove Shopping Centre.

    Don't look as if you're in a hurry.

    Please ensure that you test it thoroughly once you receive it, including checking fans, temperatures, and performance. Avoid anything that looks like it’s had a hard life mining.
