Obviously, the rest of them couldn't hit an elephants arse with a banjo

We have scored 11 more goals than any other PL team so someone is scoring them.

We've not played properly in weeks.

Still 6 wins in the last 7 in the league.

Got there in the end but another slog. If they can't raise themselves for the game against Spurs I give up

Look I know there's a big pushback these days against xG but:

    Leicester (0.26) 0-1 (3.12) Liverpool

I had every confidence Pool would win , because Monaghan and Liverpool never win on the same day . Poxy Donegal

An absolutely professional performance for this time of the season. 3 points is 3 points is 3 points. Arne Slot’s mighty machine.

Loving the points, loving the league domination, appreciate it all (so don't need any comments about taking t for granted)

but I do hope our football is a little easier on the eye next season

    Loved that result.

Plugged away and got the win in the end.

I really don't want to be dragging this into Chelsea away and the Arsenal game. Get the job done next week.

Same fob off answer we've gotten all season. He's gone

Have a ticket for next weekend. Please Redmen - 35 years of going over so would be beautiful to get to see it happen.

If Palace could get a draw midweek, that might release the pressure enough to get the performance up a bit

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,943 ✭✭✭eigrod

Me too. And for Arsenal & Palace games.

Spurs are the eternal enigma but you have to think all their efforts are on the following Thursday.

Anyway, definitely just a matter of when now.

Some achievement for a team with a new manager & no new signings..

Results are what matters now we all know performances haven't been good but still picking up the 3 points most weeks i've said it a couple of times this season enjoy this as nobody expected this to happen this season, we all love to have a moan about something on here I bet there will be sone moaning when we finally get the job done we didn't lift the trophy right or something like that 😂😂,enjoy it as who knows when this might happen again my bottle of vintage whiskey is getting closer too been opened.

That was a solid, professional performance today. Should have scored 5, but got the win and that's all the matters. 3 more points and we're home 😁

Seems to be what I remembered of the match, we had so many chances and they threw so many bodies to stop us but we actually played okay this match.

They were still fighting for the PL lives, even as slim as it was but this was their last spasms to try and stay in the PL so we should have expected this performance. But they are not a very good side unfortunately and you saw this in the end.

In any case, onwards and upwards, 13 points ahead with only 15 left to play for. Anything but an Arsenal win in midweek and we are officially champions. Feels good…doesn't it!

That's the 3rd time I've watched Leicester play since Christmas, and I can't remember watching a poorer side. They literally offer nothing to any game, just sit deep and wait for the inevitable. Even Southampton, bad and all as they are, try have a go.

Bit silly , Carra saying Trent shouldn't be playing games '' Liverpool not here to give him a send off '

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,529 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

The Trent Farewell Tour is at Anfield next week. It really is the perfect time to win it, at home, hopefully in dramatic style, a screamer from Salah in added time.

Carra is absolutely correct about starting Bradley in the remaining games. Absolute no-brainer.

Stole this stat: 23 points in 22 games for Amorim. Hodgson’s Liverpool would be two points ahead of them with two games in hand.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,381 ✭✭✭✭noodler

Im torn but it wouldn't be due to any "let's punish Trent mentality".

Carra summed it up, is CB the first choice and we get a back up or do we need to buy a first choice.

We need to see if CB can grow into playing 10 consecutive games without always getting injured.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,622 ✭✭✭Pepp1989

Surely you get someone to compete with CB to become first choice.

I suppose an undisputed 1st choice RB will likely be a lot more expensive and a specialist.

A back up could be a lot cheaper and play multiple positions.

I am afraid we probably don't have the money to do option 1 every time.
