Oh yes, I remember season 3 was pretty great!

I haven't gotten around to Daredevil Born Again yet, maybe I'll try and get it started this long weekend.

Watched the first episode of Adolescence on netflix last night. Then I watched the other three episodes. Last one was tough. Especially since I have a 13 yo son, and the actor even looked a bit like him 😱

I only saw the first episode of born again last night. It’s sooooo good. But it does pick up right after season 3 so I’m glad I watched that first.

We've been watching Reacher series 3 but have now caught up so waiting for the new episode on Thursday. In the meantime we've started The Blacklist. So far I have slept through 1 of the 4 episodes we've watched 😆

Thats on our list, not sure this week is the week for it though!! Love Stephen Graham and would watch him read the telephone directory so looking forward to this.

It's a really excellent watch. Stephen Graham in top form as always.

Watched the first episode last night. Talk about tense, wow. The single shot technique was incredibly well done and ramped up the tension as it progressed (I'd still question the police's speed of gaining that level of evidence mind!). Will be binging the last 3 episodes I suspect.

Stephen Graham was so good as the Dad… you could feel the emotional turmoil almost jump off the screen at you!

Yep broke my heart watching him die. I did like Matt just pushing Bullseye off the top of the building in pure and heartbreaking grief.

Finally got around to watching 'dopesick' on Disney. Had seen the other miniseries on the Oxycontin crisis in the states ('Painkiller') a while back so felt watching too close together would be overkill, but really enjoyed this version, we pretty much watch all 8 episodes over 3 nights. As someone who deals with the pharma industry daily it was incredible to see how messed up the whole situation was with the FDA.

Dopesick is an eye opener, makes you question anything they push is any way to help people rather than their pockets.

We finished adolescence, so many thoughts on this and it sparked an hour couch discussion with my OH.

After hearing loads of good things, started watching season 1 of the white lotus over the weekend. Watched the first 2 (of 6) episodes and whilst it looks fabulous am finding it a little slow. Will watch anything with Connie Britton in it though as I think she's a great actress, so I hope it picks up a tad.

I believe none of the 3 seasons are directly linked either and that its a new story each time so hoping it can maintain our interest.

Watched the first episode of Mobland last night, it's very much London gangland telly by the numbers but Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren doing Kerry accents is a good laugh.

I've started watching North of North on Netflix and it is an easy watch. Bonus points for being filmed in Nunavut near the Arctic Circle so it's snowy all the time and they get around on skidoos - somewhat Christmassy without Christmas 😄

I binged Years and Years on Netflix during the week. Never caught it when it was first shown so didn't really know anything about it. Wow. A powerful watch, but pretty bleak. Won't be able to start the new series of Black Mirror for a while after it!

Watching The Stolen Girl on Disney at the moment. Only 5 forty-odd minute episodes so easy to get through!

We watched all 5 of those yesterday. My wife and daughter enjoyed it, I fell asleep on the sofa.

Pulp's new single Got to Have Love. It's such a summer song. Love it. Cannot wait for the gig in Dublin. Just 2 weeks away now. Their album is out June 6. Brings me back to the 90s! Everything was better including the Christmasses I'm nostalgic for :-)

Watched the original silent version of Nosferatu on Amazon last night. Kind of bizarre to suddenly come across it all of a sudden as I was always wondered why it wasn’t aired at all despite seeing clips of it in passing, only to discover it was down to the legal issues that surrounded the movie when it was originally released causing it to be banned. Glad to have finally ticked it off the bucket list.

For various reasons we ended up subscribing to Amazon prime over the weekend, other than JAck Reacher, is there anything else exclusive to prime worth looking out for?

Was disappointed to see that Friday Night Lights (the tv series) was no longer available on it though, had watched it with the Mrs when it first came out & fancied a rewatch with the kids.

Supernatural was one I enjoyed. 15 seasons, so you'll be in for the long haul. I was late to the series as it was alreadly finished by the time I got to it, so it was an advantage to be able to watch it through without breaks in the seasons, so whether your family would be into the otherworldly type stuff.

The Mrs had watched about half of that previously and drifted away from it. Cant see her starting it again, but you never know, will mention it to her. Thanks.

I don't know if still available on Prime but I watched crime dramas Bosch & Cross and enjoyed them. Bosch especially, the spinoff series Bosch Legacy is ok. And there's another spinoff series Ballard about to launch soon.

Countdown has just launched, as an action thriller.

Also diverting is My Music with Rhiannon Giddens.

The Boys is more in the dark superhero space.

And fantasy wise The Rings of Power. I would have recommended Wheel of Time but that has just been cancelled after 3 seasons.

I had to cancel Prime because there was literally nothing on it I was interested in watching. I just have Netflix and Disney now.

I would be tempted to briefly get Apple TV though because I've never seen Ted Lasso.

We only have it because I got a huge annual discount through work (AWS are a client) and it was primarily for the deliveries i took it up, it was my daughter that copped the video/streaming element.

Haven't had a chance to go through it yet to see what's on it, hence looking for suggestions here.

TBH I'm finding it harder & harder to find stuff worth watching on all the steamer sites, netflix has squid game s3 back today (thats the weekends TV sorted) & Dept Q. was v.good but nothing else on it interests me currently and that's costing €15 (i think) a month!!

We have disney too and never watch it, need to make sure that doesn't auto renew this year.

I use this site for keeping an eye on new Amazon prime content. It's not 100% reliable and sometimes gets flooded with a dump of Indian movies or 'straight to DVD' crap but new content usually appears first in the listing eg this week there's Season 2 of mystery series Nine Perfect Strangers with Nicole Kidman.
