Ring Video Doorbell not working with Echo

I have two Ring Video Doorbells (front door and back door) and for some weeks now they no longer provide alerts on the Amazon Echo when there is someone at the door or when the bell is pressed. The following are turned on for both doorbells: ring alerts, motion detection, motion alerts.

I'm not sure if this issue dates from Storm Eowyn when we had a power outage for 11 days or it's something else. One thing I notice is that my devices are showing under Amazon dot com (US) rather than on the UK site. Could that be the problem? I used to have separate passwords for the two site, but when I was having difficuly buyin something on the US site a while back, I think customer service merged the two accounts.

I'd really appreciate any suggestions on how to sort this out.

hi Leck, you could try disabling the ring skill in alexa and then re-enabling it. to reset the connection.

If that doesn't work, try deleting the device from Alexa and then re-adding it. You will need to press the reset butting on the Ring doorbell for this.

Regarding the logging into different Amazon's worldwide. I log into all Amazon's using the one login details which i orignally set up on Amazon.co.uk.. On the app on the phone you can even change the Amazon domain and currency view under settings.

What to do if your Ring and Alexa features stop working
