Door replacement

There is a dent in the rear passenger door of my car (2019 Ford Focus) and the crash repair guy I showed it to said it would be cheaper to get a replacement door from a scrap yard rather than fix the dent on the door. I managed get a door that is in not too bad shape (it has one small scratch on it) but I don't think they will be able to fit it.
It doesn't have the window and it doesn't have the inner panel, just the outside part (see pic).
Does that matter? I saw a YouTube video that shows the door panel being replaced but I don't know if the window can be switched from one door to another?
I can return the door but I won't get a full refund, the take 30 percent for labour.

If its an identical model and year and cc it should be swappable. Parts can be transferred once its hung . Check everything .

It is an identical model. I was given the door handle so if they can transfer the panel and window all they need to do is get rid of the scratch and spray paint it.

They’ll just take the glass and inner panels from your old door

I brought the door to the guy in the repair place so he could have a look at it and see does it look OK and thankfully he said yes. it's a different colour but they can spray it. I was sh###ing it because if I had to return the door I would only be refunded 70 percent of what I paid for it (which was €350). Also it cost me 30 euro in diesel to get there. So I would have lost €135. To repair the existing door I was quoted €1500 (there are a few other bits to fix on the car).

With the replacement door it will cost €1000. So I saved a bit but not much. The door I got does not have the inside panel or the glass, it's just the handle and the steel frame. €350 seems excessive for that but even the smallest part for a car costs a fortune nowadays.

He told me that if they fix the dent on the old door it might not look perfect after, it's actually better to get a replacement door with no dent. So I googled for it and found that place (I won't mention the name but if anyone wants to know pm me)

I got a side mirror for €200 euro too because I needed that as well. One of mine got damaged during the snowfall back in January. I posted about it here. I actually only wanted the cover but I had to buy the whole thing.

What car is it? And where did you get the door?

Sorry I see its a 2019 Ford Focus. Yeah €350 seems expensive, but I haven’t bought used parts in a while. Its better to buy a new door than try fill the old one with filler.
