    33 seconds average shot time is criminal over 17 frames.

    3 breaks over 50. And two of them were 50 and 52.

    Nightmare to place against.

    Still offside from Ford though.

    Yes a good start from Hill. Playing really well so far but a long way to go.

    I see at least 6 Chinese players are guaranteed to be at the Crucible this year with a possible further 5 also having a chance of making the final 32.

    Hill finished the session 6-3 up. Fair play. They go again at 5 today.

    Ryan Day is also 6-3 up against Sunny Akani. I'd be happy for Day and Matthew Stephens to make it back to the world championship.

    You only need to register on WST Play to watch today and tommorow.

    That can then be casted.

    You don't need to pay £5 for the month.

    Fergal last played in 2017 and Ken in 2014 and other than those two who were at the Crucible regularly, you have to go back to 2008 when Michael Judge got to the first round and Joe Delaney also in 2007.

    The battle on makes the defeat a bit easier I think, he had a half chance or two there to get to the respotted black.

    Gilbert is very experienced -Semi finalist last year- and just dug in to take it.
