    Joe does not own the phrase "so to speak". You haven't listened to the show today. You haven't a clue what you're banning me for. You are obviously just out to get me, for any reason.

    The "careful now" was aimed at the the comments of the caller on liveline that the poster quoted. So I wasn't imitating joe duffy nor commenting on moderation.

    So please remove this warning /ban and we'll move on. I cannot accept this warning/ban because it's unwarranted. There will be plenty of opportunities to ban me in future, but this isn't one.

    I accepted your other warnings to me, even though I do think you're a terrible mod.

    Seems to me Leg end Reject has lost the plot. That post did not deserve a warning. Noting about Joe's accent, or imitating him. I was replying to a poster that said "where your opening is" which a caller on the show said. How is "careful now, so to speak" commenting on mod instruction? I know admins will obviously defend a mod against me. But my post doesn't NOT deserve a warning/ban.

    Leg end reject will not remove the warning/ban. So will an admin look into this?

    Any update on this? Are mods allowed to get away with their incorrect actions? Does any mod/admin ever admit a mod is wrong?

    I Googled 'boards.ie joe duffy so to speak' and there are some other/older posts which reference it which pre-date the new Radio forum charter. I note this because I know you're saying that you weren't taking the mick out of Duffy's natural speech, etc. I'm aware the mod note in the OP in the Liveline thread doesn't name specific phrases, it's probably unrealistic to expect it to.

    You've picked up a few warnings over the last while.

    In one of those PMs you're saying there'll be other opportunities to ban you. I'd like to give you the benefit of the doubt that you said this out of frustration. It's not a great look, though.

    Thanks for getting back to me.

    I did say "there would be more opportunities to ban me in future" its obviously a bad joke. As a poster will get banned for silly reasons by a mod not paying attention to the show, but jumping the gun and handing out bans over posts that have nothing to do with commentating on moderation.

    So straight away, half of the reason for the ban is completely wrong because the mod is taking the post out of context. But won't admit that in their PMs. The mod just jumps straight into the other part, So-to-speak.

    As already said, joe duffy doesn't own that phrase. I didn't ridicule his accent.

    Also, now on the radio forum, a mod has changed the rules, that posters are allowed to openly mock joe duffys accent and all the stupid things he's said on his show.

    Anyway, I know nothing will change, the warning will stand. Mods are always right, even when they are wrong.

    Your self-pity and griping is irrelevant. Yes, sometimes mods are wrong and I've overturned warnings before.
