    Hi there,

I have been waiting almost 6 months to get my retest in Wilton and the invite finally arrived, When I logged on there were NO timeslots available for Wilton. Instead I was offered Mallow or Skibbereen. In a panic I selected Skibbereen but I now regret my haste.

I have 2 questions: [1] can I reschedule to Wilton or am I now locked into Skibbereen?

[2] I've been told that the pass rate is higher in Skibbereen so I'm wondering if anyone knows, how many test routes in Skibbereen and if the routes are available online like the 10 route test pack for Wilton.

Thanks in advance for any help or advice. GusCy

I passed my test in Skibb. I am not sure how many route, but I also did learn to drive with the instructor in Skibb who basically usually teach on the test route. I could imagine it would be benefit if you have a bit of money to do the mock test with instructor in Skibb. But it is not a big town so I would think it wouldn't be too many routes? When I did my test, it was all the places that I have been learning with the instructor.

The tip from instructor is that, pick the test time either way early before school starts, and also not when school is done (don't remember what time anymore) because it is a lot of traffics in town. He said the best is when there is a school break haha. There's also some "yield sign" but actually with a stop line, and a stop line that is so worn that you barely see. They did a new street by the library that is still narrow, but the local would know that it barely fits two cars. There is a road work by Londis.

    Good luck.
