    Was disappointed when I heard he was a jockey as I’ve no interest in horse racing, but he’s great guest. Wonderful talker. Honest, enthusiastic and sincere.

    The traveller was interesting but Tommy asked him very little about his work, in contrast with the lady who was doing the history of the GAA through 100 objects, where it was about her work. I get that him being gay and a traveller are talking points, but he probably could have gained a lot of insight into the history and culture.


    Anyway great show. So good to not have an audience, competitions, video clips, guests promoting stuff etc.

    I thought Charlotte Church came across as a lovely person to be fair. I had a bit of an impression of her based on tabloid stuff years ago but seems lovely.

    Just caught up it was a good auld show all three guests very comfortable in their own skin and chatty. People persons. Which was great for the flow. Church and Russell have real drive. Full of information all three of them.
    I must admit I did find it amusing that a Gay traveller adopts the “Gay Accent” lisp and arty scarf etc. it is like a skit Tommy would have loved to have thought up in his younger days.
