Anxiety especially, your body is in constant or flight mode and you will notice physical issues with your body. Heart palpitations, dizziness, digestive issues to name a few. You might also not be getting enough sleep with the anxiety even waking you during your sleep so may never feel fully rested.

Add in depression, stress and burnout and your body takes a battering. With the fatigue then after work and weekends you feel like you can do nothing.

i myself and other people I know have taken stress leave for a few months from work to get ourselves back right as was expierencing all the above i mentioned.

    Thank you for your reply.

I have been working 10yrs in a highly stressful job and I’ve always been full time. Now, I am struggling to bounce back. I’m worried about my health more now than ever!

Might be worth signing off for a while with a doctors note.

I’m floored physically. I am a fit person usually, love running, gym and full time job…but in the last 2mth, I’m not able for anything. Lucky if I can get walks in now outside of work. I just go to work and back and I am now completely floored.
