    Rory really should have made birdie on 14. That goes down as a bad miss. He putt didn't even threaten the hole from maybe 4 feet.

    In fairness to Faldo he’s very knowledgeable about golf and the golf swing etc, I don’t mind him on commentary at all, I’d rather him over Laura Davies or Paul McGinley any day.

    Rory has putted well today so far, couple of makeable birdie putts, but you can't make them all.

    Couple of good par putts and a really comfortable round so far.

    Definitely a positive strokes gained putting day I would say

    It's an interesting looking Leaderboard.

    I think McIlroy is playing great.

    Hatton's game will really suit the course.

    Obviously Scheffler will be there.

    I said to myself I bet Rory does exactly what Cantlay did. And he did, through the green and into the water. Cantlay did it twice, but Rory is going to the drop zone which might help.
