LIVEATC for Sligo?

Hey! Just wondering. Could anyone give any feeding for Sligo Airport? I go there a lot every Summer and Easter and a lot of the aircraft that visit either have MLAT or no transponders. There are a few ADS-B yes, but a LOT of them are also not. It would be a nice addition as then I would be able to know if anything is departing or incoming without having to be on the lookout 24/7 and not be able to relax. I am MAD into aviation and I feel like this would make my dream. (IT'S NOT JUST ME, IT WOULD PROBABLY HELP A LOT OF OTHER SLIGO SPOTTERS)

I am sorry if the wording sounds entitled, it's just that airports like Shannon and Dublin are covered but not too many other Irish airports. Sligo and the likes of Abbeyshrule get frequent visitors so I'm not sure why they aren't covered.

For this situation, the only practical solution is to buy an airband radio.

What the OP seems to be seeking is for someone else to have (or buy) an airband radio and then stream the Sligo frequency for his/her convenience.

Well you see, arriving is the easy part. MLAT aircraft can sometimes be seen flying in the Sligo direction so after a few minutes, I start looking. It's the departing that's hard. I just get bummed out that I miss an aircraft departing since it is not on the radar if it's not ADS-B.

It turns out our new caravan has a panoramic view that gives full visibility of the airport, meaning I can just spot any aircraft at anytime.

Though I WILL say, Ernie's solution of buying an airband radio MIGHT be something worth looking into. I'm down in Rosses Point, like 2nm away. Would that work from that distance?

Damn, I might consider that. I just thought it was odd that there was no atc coverage for Sligo despite it still being fairly crowded. Again, sorry if the wording sounded entitled, I tried.
