    Some very low humidity readings (even more unusual for the early morning) in parts of Central, Eastern & North Kildare, South Meath and Southwest and West Dublin due to a pronounced Foehn wind.

    Beautiful warm feeling 15.3c in Arklow with a light northeast breeze

    We like NE sea breezes here because it travels 6kms inland and not as cold as other directions eastward where it’s closer to 2kms

    Thanks pureza, only difficulty is finding a spot for it, my house although on an acre is now surrounded by trees and so quite sheltered, currently sited on a new pole on the North side of the house but probably picking up extra heat from the driveway, may have to move to the South side which will be more sheltered from the winds but a bigger grass area away from buildings and driveways , that's what I have to play with for now. Might be moving house in a while so could end up with an open field site and be able to get a proper mast up so will have to bid my time until then.

    Currently reading 21.4C here now which is defiantly more than all the local stations which are showing 19 to 20C. Better move the pole at the weekend before the concrete around the pole gets too hard!

    Very low humidity down to 42% atm, not good for gorse fires.

    A chilly 2° leaving home near Ardagh, Longford just after 04:00 this morning and temperature fluctuated between 1° and 5° along the drive and it's 7° as I pulled up to the office in inchicore about 15 minutes ago..

    -1° at Mount Dillon on the 07:00 report. There'll be a large diurnal range there today as it could get into the low 20's at the same location this afternoon.
