Dummies Guide to watching classics and Tours please

I know there has been a long thread on this but I've decided to just buy the bullet and get a subscription. But I'm getting confusing info when I start looking into it.

I'd appreciate a quick pointer on how to get a subscription to watch on TV with an Apple TV Box - or whatever.

You'll need the sports extra pack from Now TV, and the NowTV app on your Apple TV

Thanks. I did that but the only cycling I see on it tomorrow is the women’s Flanders from 1.45.
The Sports Extra package says It says “live action from TNT sports” - but I can’t find the men’s Flanders. Next item on the calendar is Tour of Basque Country.

Mens race is live in TNT sports 1 from 9AM, ladies is live from 1.45 on TNT sports 2

Thanks again, but …. should I have that men’s 9AM start from TNT on the NOW Sports Extra package? I can’t see it - just the women’s 1.45 start. Am I missing something.

I don't have NowTV, we have Sky Stream so I can't see what you are seeing but there won't be any difference in the channels between the two sister packages

We have the Now package, mainly for the F1 coverage as my son is a big fan. The cycling coverage really isn't worth the money. An exceedingly useless app, no possibility of recording, poorer coverage and despite paying for this crap, they still take massive ad breaks.

Once we can find an alternative source for the F1 coverage, we're going to cancel the subscription and I'll just VPN for the Continental tv channels

Yeah, I tried it for a month and realised within 5 minutes that it was a waste of time. Without the option to record it's no use - far too many ads to make watching it live anything except a frustration.

You gotta go to your provider and pay the money so that you can record and watch later or slightly behind live and then forward past the ads and the boring bunch bits.

I'm with virgin and in fairness it's pretty good. Has all the coverage I require.
