I have changed role in July of lasy year. I submitted my application back in June. My current role isnt on the application. part of my role would really suit an example for one of the capabilities. I'm thinking of using it. However, is it not advisable to mention a role that is not on the application?

I think the format of the interview has them going over your CV / work history at the start - you can flag that you've changed jobs since submitting the application then to the panel. It's probably quite common given the timescale of these recruitment processes that applicants would have changed roles or positions since first applying months or even years before, and I think the interviewing panel wouldn't think it odd or bad for you to using a more recent (and a stronger) example.

How long after being notified by PAS on the department you are going to , did the new HR department contact people?

Afternoon, I’m assuming your current dept have finally provide a reference & you’ve received an assignment notification? Congrats! These delays with references are astonishing.

I have just been assigned from Batch 2 to DSP Dublin. Anyone else get DSP? What office did you get? How many days in the office are required?

    What Department?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 77 ✭✭aislingm999

Data protection commission. Did anyone else get assigned here ? Or does anyone know how many days they require in office?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 317 ✭✭natc

I got offered mobility to DSP in Kilkenny previously but it required an EO to be in office every day as it was in employment assistance services so required face to face meetings with unemployed people. I turned it down due to requirement that I could have to be in 5 days a week if other EO was out for any reason.

I know someone else in DSP who is HEO and they work in an Intreo office (Not Dublin) and they are in 5 days. However, another HEO I know only had to do 2 days in office (Dublin location) when in DSP. It really depends on the division you are in.

I placed 9th on OOM after stage 1 in Laois. I got that message in August last year. Emailed today and they said 1-8 have moved to stage 2 and anyone else will be notified at a later date if called

Hi! I know it’s been posted on this thread countless times.. but I can’t find it. Does any have the email address for public jobs to look for an update ?

emailed PAS Friday and they said up to 770 have been called. Doesn’t appear to be a batch 3 yet but they stated the panel expires November 2025 so it’s quite slow.
