    Hi

I have a small personal pension with IL.

I have decided on an basic single life annuity where I will draw down 25% and have a monthly fixed amount at, quoted 4.8% at just under €600 a month.

Is it worth shopping around and if so how much does a independent financial advisor cost or what commission is involved.

With the IL quote I just need to fill in the paperwork.

It absolutely is worth shopping around.

    Annuity rates vary.

Ask the IFA what charges or commission would apply, and remember that commission disclosure is mandatory and that ILAC aren't volunteers!
