Yep. It would have been the Greatest Depression with Trump in charge.

It would be the price VW USA purchase the car from VW Germany including shipping and insurance. So a lot less than the sticker price.

"Tirr..illions and tirr..illions " ! Purses lips puts head to one side looks this way , then the other .

The way he talks and holds himself , so studied .

Now he is including EU vat in the "reciprocal tariffs ".

If he spent as much time reading about the worlds' economic policies instead of looking at himself in the mirror maybe he would not make so many stupid faux pas .

Complete fool , being led by the nose by Vance and other anti-EU hawks .

    Edit typos

Not quite. It'll be 25% of the wholesale price, ie the value of the car by the maker when it lands at US customs.

The eventual purchaser may pay less than 25% more if the makers and distributors choose to absorb some cost, or they may pay more than 25% depending on tariffs on components and added value that may be in the car, but comes from a higher tariff territory in the first place.

Basically, its gonna take a lot of spreadsheets and several days to work out the aggregated impacts
