Winter is gone 😆😆😆. Spring is here, and the clocks go forward this weekend. At last, the sun might be in the sky when the working day is done, and we can get out into our gardens (and nature). I love this time of year - it's as if the weight of winter is lifted from our shoulders and we can breathe, and live again. I went over to the park across the road today - cold, wet, but the sun made a brief appearance. Nature is waking up again. And I love it!

Went out to shoot on the Wooden Bridge at sunset. Bitterly cold wind. And unusual weather conditions. I have only seen it once before - April 2011. Also in Clontarf.
As the sun was setting, due to athmospheric conditions (I think), I was able to shoot the sun directly. No filters, handheld, with a 500mm lense (in 2011 it was also with a 500mm lens).
For me, the amazing thing was that I captured sunspots (I checked for dust bunnies - the sunspots were in the same position in all shots, but the sun was in different parts of the "frame".
