Medical Certificate Coverage

Hi all, when you are certified sick for work and develop another illness like a cold/flu on top of what you're certified sick for, do you require to hand in to your employer a second medical certificate?

I wouldn't think so, unless you will be out of work longer than your original cert

No if the first one covers the dates you were out you are ok. Most places don't even need the reason for the cert on it. All my doctor puts on mine is illness.
