This is one hell of a cast.

    A 10 episode 30 minute comedy.

In The Studio, Rogen stars as the newly appointed head of a movie studio, Continental Studios. Desperate for the approval of celebrities, he and his team of executives at Continental Studios must juggle corporate demands with creative ambitions as they try to keep movies alive and relevant. The Studio assembles a star-studded ensemble cast led by Emmy, SAG and Golden Globe Award-winner Catherine O’Hara, Emmy Award-nominee Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz and Chase Sui Wonders. Academy Award-nominee and Emmy Award-winner Bryan Cranston, Keyla Monterroso Mejia and Dewayne Perkins also star.

Some great cameos in that to be fair.. is that Paul Dano at 34 seconds?.. but doesn't really scream must-watch.

Maybe too close to The Franchise which has been dull.

I can't seem to find a thread for this (I was sure there was one!)?

Loving it so far, so many genuine laugh out loud moments with episode 2 the funniest episode of TV I've seen in quite a while.

Watched the first episode, thought it was pretty bad and hard to watch. Not getting the hype.

I enjoyed it.. it's basically Curb in a movie studio.

It is similar to Curb alright but the thing is, while I enjoy Curb and it's made me laugh quite a bit, I don't remember laughing as hard as I did multiple times during episode 2 of this. The momentum it gathers and, although you can see it coming, how it ends had me in stitches and it reportedly keeps building in this way throughout the season. Personally, I'm all in for episode 3.

too much Birdman, but the cross over between the 2 movies in the first episode is genius.

Katherine Hans character is odd and OTT

Have enjoyed it so far but the style keeps confusing me into thinking it's set in the 60/70's which gets very distracting when people mention contemporary things.

    Yeah, I'm getting a 60/70's vibe too.

The number of beige suits and classic cars on display don't help.

Went to watch this on the firestick the other day and it was dubbed in French with French subtitles, fcuk that.

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)
