I am willing to own up to my mistakes, more than one.. I will still keep my eyes on Fiona because of the poor quality of replies received when I pressured this beautiful individual. But the role-claim is something that gets me to not vote them (or maybe that's what they wanted to achieve with a fake role-claim). So Conor goes now.

seriously though- do you think vern is a wolf? We may need to lynch him to find out at some point tbh but.. if he isn’t then he’s the easiest mislynch target in the game. Would you agree that folks piling on to him is a bit suss IF he’s village?

I am a villager. I may be wrong with my reads, but Fiona interaction was rather poor, they ignored many of my questions and instead spoke about other stuff. Not a good look. I feel like a weakling here changing my vote away from Fiona now, but a role claim is a role claim and it will get resolved one way or another.

Also, not nice to describe my reads with the T-word. Goes both ways, you know. I am deeply offended by such language.

Lean goods (no particular order, and not a "good" list, just "better than others")

Conor, Brendan, Frank, Lucy. Doris was on the list too (but obviously not as important now, lol; I'm using her to judge my moral compass though). Vernon mostly makes the list.

Read bads (no particular order)

I'm not putting Isla on the list because they are Liz. I did mention a gut feeling about being worried about them yesterday. I don't mind the streaking thing, but I was surprised to find Liz mentioning the idea of Liz streaking BEFORE they actually streaked. In post #246, Liz brought up the idea of fake Liz streaking. It's a weird post in the context of latter streaking. In #260, Liz also asks if we have found Liz yet. Fiona responds "No Liz, we haven't found Liz until now" which seems to imply Fiona had guessed who she was talking too as well. So, the bad feeling I have about Liz is not that she was pretending to not be Liz, but the fact that she references streaking before streaking is putting a question mark beside her.

Gabriel's responses to my thoughts yesterday were worrisome as well. I feel Gabriel wasn't contributing to much to the thread, and then when me and Conor started talking about them, Gabriel was very quick to contribute. Kind of. I really disliked the fact Gabriel refused to throw names out, and outright says they don't believe in naming names or voicing suspicions until after the first vote. I dislike it because I've used the exact same logic before when I was a wolf that didn't want to draw attention to myself or provide stuff to be used against me. It leads back to the issues I had with his response when I asked about how many wolves there were, and he batted it off to Fiona's answer. Gabriel's responses to questions have been very non-committal.

Mary's posts have me feeling a bit uneasy; in particular, pushing votes onto Emily and Phil as low posters feels like trying to be non-committal, and targeting easy fodder. If I had a peek, I'd actually put Mary forward as a little bit of a wildcard option.

Fiona - I'm bouncing back and forth on, tbh. I get Fiona wasn't happy with the insult, but….I genuinely mean this respectfully, but it now feels like Fiona REALLY hated the amount of attention she got early. I hate trying to discern if it's genuine anger at Vernon's comments or if it's someone who is trying to use them as a shield, but I feel Vernon called 90% of the players a wolf, but everyone else just rolled eyes and moved on. Whereas Fiona is STILL obviously upset it, and dismissing any worries about her now as being down to the initial insult.

And I feel a bit uncomfortable, in a sense, cause if she is angry, then these worries are unfair on her. But from a gameplay point of view, I feel we have to make sure it's not a wolf who is trying to keep the noise up. A few posters have asked we park the Vernon vs Fiona stuff, and I don't think anyone was going to vote Fiona on the back of yesterday's comments. But Fiona is now acting as if she's massively underfire from the village, when she wasn't. It's at risk of becoming a self-fulfilling propecy, and it's hard to judge if it's an insulted villager who genuinely isn't happy, or someone who has been rattled and worries about the long term ramifications of her game if the idea sets into the village's heads that maaaybe she's bad. Genuine anger vs guilty conscience.

I genuinely don't like the vibe either way; either it's a personal spat that's taking over the entire game (which is not victim blaming or invalidating anyone; I would have been hurt if I was called a scumbag too) or it's a wolf who is using it in a disruptive manner. And it puts everyone else into a position where they end up having to let it colour their reads of people, one way or the other.

On a separate note though, saying Vernon is wrong about Conor is a massive alarm bell. There's absolutely no way Holly would know if Conor is good or bad, and saying Conor must be good cause Vern accused him is poor logic as a villager. Putting aside everything else, being so definitive about the idea that Vernon calling Conor bad is wrong is a massive worry.

The fact both Vernon and Fiona have not only role claimed but said they can prove it makes it somewhat self-resolving though; at some point, they will have to reveal with solid proof. The issue is overwhelming looking at other avenues though, and it really cannot drag on the entire game.

Other bad feelings - Holly - Way, way down in 4th place though.

Based on the first 24 hours, I'd be leaning towards putting my vote on Gabriel.

Bit of advice. You do not just vote the person accusing you. If you are actually a villager here, now the wolves have an easy setup on you "awww Fiona voted a villager therefore wolf". Please try to compose yourself.

Nope, you firstly insulted me by calling me a scumbag and then doubled down by wolf reading from my angry reaction to you insulting me.

You don't get to tell me to get over it - YOU caused this by your actions. YOU are the reason this has come about. Your bad behaviour has caused ALL of this.

And you STILLLLLL don't even get it, that's the thing that annoys me more, in fact you continue to double down on your atrocious behaviour and attempt to justify it.
