50 fizzy colas if you knew the shop had a batch that were extra sour

Or maybe a Dan bar and 40 fizzy colas

If you couldn't get all the wrapper off the Dan bar, cause it was melted into it, you just ate that bit of the wrapper

Or you might like a Smiley bar if the mood strikes ya

Funny actually I was training in a new guy last week he’s in early 20’s. We ended up discussing inflation and the price of things. Just reminded me when I was a chap my grandad would give me 50p whenever I went to visit him.

you’d clear a shop out with it compared to today. I’d say I most definitely miss chocolate cigarettes the most. How they got away with wrapping them in paper that was identical to a cigarette is beyond me to this day. Maybe I’m misremembering entirely but I could swear to jaysus they came in packs mimicking popular fag brands. Just imagine that today🤣🤣 the Helen lovejoys would pop a vein.

Of course once they got axed they were replaced by the candy sticks. Those were always interesting- some were slightly soft and chewy while others were rock hard. Was similar to eating chalk a bit not sure why I enjoyed them so much.

Can also recall the first time I saw real Vanilla Coke. Used to beg my mother for it when we went to the shop. That and a dream bar or flake snow.

Fcuk sake. Depressed now.

They're already back in Aldi for the past few weeks. 😎

sure they’d only ruin it if they did. Like they did the brunch ice cream. Only a sprinkle of the crumb on it now it’s not nearly as nice.
