Shower leak and damage to frame

Hi, My sister in laws shower is leaking and has caused damage to timber. She sent me photo attached. What would you recommend as the easiest way to fix this? Preferably something that she could do herself without me having to go visit to do full repair

Could you post a picture of the whole layout. Very hard to see whats going on.
There's really no point in fixing it again again until the problem is solved.
