Yes, but sometimes the much hyped becomes the anti-climax.

To be fair it was long odds on beforehand one of the top three would win it so not surprising that was the focus . Unless you back the winner most racing fans like to see the best horses battle it out and like to see top horses winning the big races .The winner today is a good horse but few would have really lumped on to any great extent .

No bets today just watched the replays. Constitution Hill's fall was caused by Brighterdaysahead knocking the hurdle forwards in front of him, he would have cleared it otherwise. Townend will be kicking himself over State Man, set him alight way too early, should have waited until after the last. Ruby said if he'd had the Annie Power ride back again he would have waited too, came into it too fast.

They'll also be thinking they should have ran Lossie in the champion now, she was a different league in the mares and they still would have won it with Jade, hindsight is a great thing though.

Knowledge is learning something, wisdom is learning from it, intelligence thought of it first.

Not bad today got a few placed at big prices and chasing a bit of value again tomorrow though i wasted a bit of time looking at the Curragh card for sun, heading up sunday and staying the night in the Keadeen so looking for some assistance with the bill but might have a live one for sunday. The Yellow Clay ew in the 1.20 Chel is consistent and has a realistic chance 7/1. I fancied Better Days Ahead for some time for the 2.oc price is ok but only 7 runners now.Comfort Zone was probably kept for the 2.40 and should go very close with any luck in running and could be very well handicapped.Vanillier is well handicapped in the 3.20 and i also got word that he is well fancied.Have not looked at the 4.40 yet but i should get a chance later,Emmet Mullins could have his horse laid out for this but as i have not looked at it i will not suggest a bet.
