    What the hell happened…?

My son has been the one playing football games in our house for the last few years and has been in the FC series as that was the one his friends all played.

I saw on the store last night eFootball 2025 for free and thought "I yeah, that was originally Pro Evolution, I 'll grab that and have a play around"

Mother of god….it is a shell of what it once was, I mean at one point it was v close to taking FIFA's crown but holy moly….did it **** the bed. Was it just a case that the dev's just had enough and all left? Everything is poor…even the menu looks like no one cared enough to make it user friendly

Looks like while I was away I dodged a few bullets with this.

    What a shame…

How long did you play it for?

Football games are complex and technical, it probably takes around 100 hours of gameplay to learn the basics fluently and it's difficult to judge the game before that point.

Fwiw the gameplay is quite good and engaging when you learn it, but you have to live with the menus and lack of game modes/content.

It’s a joke. The franchise has been absolutely ruined

Ironically the core gameplay is superior to PES. Much better animations and the AI movement is way more intelligent. But it is only a 1v1 dream team game now, the other modes are non existent.
