Elon Musk, probably mentioned a few times. Money won't buy class. Like us all, in a few short years he'll be dead, and there's no trailer after a hearse.

He's a stuttering geek. Anytime you go on twitter his posts, or his bots pop up, even when you don't follow him. He's a political fool, and unelected.

He's also ugly as fcuk and a fella with a duck's arse face you'd love to slap.

Inexplicable? Not really, to be honest.

But someone who I cannot stand: absolutely, 100%.

And this may help to explain why: "Michael Flatley flew in to Dublin from Monaco on Friday with his close friend Prince Albert of Monaco on the royal’s private jet. They both attended the Six Nations Championship game between Ireland and France at the Aviva stadium."

The three words that immediately come to my mind are sausages, moore and street.

Colm Meaney. I never minded him until the last year or two.

He was on the Late Late before the General Election in November, talking down to us plebs, telling us Eoin O'Broin would solve the Housing Crisis very quickly. He was arrogant and deluded.

Now I'm sick looking at him on that stupid Paddy Power Cheltenham ad🙈

    Norman Price from Fireman Sam.

The small village of Pontypandy has invested huge sums of money in multiple fire engines, a helicopter, a rescue boat, a jet ski, a rescue plane, a quad bike, a crane, an animal rescue vehicle, drones and an upgraded fire station all because of this little prick.

Feel like smashing the tv screen when I’m watching the cartoon with my 2 year old son 😡

The very first thing I notice when I see that Paddy Power Cheltenham poster is Ruby Walsh’s teeth.

Don't know anything about her and have only seen one picture of her and never heard her speak but there has to be something wrong with anyone who would marry Joe Brolly.

For the week that's in it, I can't stand 99% of horsey people. It is fairly inexplicable but of the vast majority I've met I find I dislike them greatly.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,040 ✭✭✭✭castletownman

Yeah the 'bantz' types are very annoying.

I always find it ironic too that its portrayed as the sport of kings, and dressing smart is encouraged, but its the working class/unemployed that get minced by the gambling companies.

Having said that, I LOVE being off for Cheltenham week.

I don't mind people being interested in it if it's what they like fair enough and I can see why it can be enjoyable but it's all the bullshit around horse racing that drives me mad

It exists almost solely due to gambling and gambling only, take it away and the sport dies on it's arse instantly.

Horse racing presented the image " the horses are cared for better than most people" as a way of duping people into believing it was a completely harmless industry. There was constant pushing of this narrative by the media in this country and constant praise of how all horsey people are salt of the earth you couldn't meet better , great people , all of which is complete bollocks as we saw with the RTE documentary a couple of years ago and Gordon Elliott controversy a while back.

It's also over-hyped how good Ireland as a country is at it, national hunt is a sport that exists on 2 Island's (UK and Ireland ) and that's it so Ireland being the best at it isn't all that great an achievement like they pretend it is.

It'd be nice if the media just admitted that it's basically it's a pure for profit industry a form of agriculture and the horses are fairly disposable at the end of the day if they aren't producing.

Most industries are realistic about what they are, it would suit horse racing better if it was aswell.

I agree. I find an awful clique. 10 years ago AP came across as such a self centred **** on that documentary 'The Real McCoy'. Ruby Walsh is another bitter little bollix who'd be a nightmare to work or live with.

And the renknowned Willie Mullins is grand infront of the cameras but a lot of people who had dealings with him in Carlow and Kilkenny will tell you differently. His father Paddy Mullins was a gentleman.

The Wallace fella and co on Home of the Year.

These houses are beyond 95% of the population. I find it so crass and out of touch when the majority of 22 to 35 year olds can't afford a home.

The presenter that does be on Radio 1 before Moring Ireland. I think his name is Shay.

    Paddy Cosgrave....Irelands biggest wànker....

Paid himself €950ķ a year and gave himself a €1million signing on bonus...

The world is really fùcked when cùnts like him earn that kind of cash while actual useful people like tradesmen, health workers etc pull in small fractions of that.....

I agree, seems like a really nice fella , was a very good player but he's just so lifeless and dull .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,617 ✭✭✭brokenbad

I was just about to post his name on this thread after reading an article which described him in court as capable of "sustained ire towards those he perceived to cross him and appeared to thrive on confrontation".

Sounds like a right nasty cnut indeed - we all know a few of those who we avoid like the plague.

I’ve changed my Garron status. I still don’t think he’s funny from a comedy point of view but he’s no longer on my ‘can’t stand’ list.
