But it does annoy those who support war crimes.

Because you say 'war crime' doesn't mean it is...same as 'genocide ' ect... Where are all the lefties after this weekends massacre if the Alawites (real genocide) ..are they out marching on the Dail...? Nope. So the question has to be asked. 'Is Ireland anti semitic-? ' I think we've a huge ugly anti semitic problem.

Looks like the evacuation of Gaza and the resettlement of its terrorist supporting inhabitants (and the innocent 20% ) is fully steam ahead. Apparently Rwanda and Indonesia are putting up their hands to take some . Big week ahead with one more big muslim country going to step up and take some of them...Its for the best lads.

Is against war crimes then advocates for a war crime, ethnic cleansing. This thread sometimes can be quite funny.

Just as saying “war crime” doesn’t mean it is. Just as saying “Ireland is anti semitic” doesn’t mean Ireland is antisemitic.
What makes the conditions of genocide present in the case of the Alawites, a “real genocide” as you say, different from the conditions in Gaza, take genocide?
Is the criteria for a genocide dependant on who is doing the killing?

The Alawites were lined up against walls and executed. Dragged behind cars...Thats genocide like October 7th. The kids getting killed in Gaza from bombings ect .That's not genocide. The Anericans have it right. Forget about the UN and ICC ect...all infected with leftwing liberals.. They ll be lucky to survive Trumps 4 years. Hopefully he'll kick the UN out of New York. Remember Samantha Power....the darling of Ireland . She's being investigated as we speak...jail for her. another anti Israeli

The claim was not that Israelis were accidentally killed by their own side. It was that the Hannibal directive was launched to kill civilians. Now perhaps you've seen some actual evidence that this was done, but I haven't. Just speculation.

I'm happy to reconsider when you provide evidence though.

It would seem that Bibi isn't flavour of the month with the Israeli public

"The majority of Israelis believe that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should accept responsibility for October 7 and resign, according to a survey conducted by the Israel Democracy Institute.

The largest share of respondents – 48 percent – said that the prime minister should "accept responsibility and resign immediately," while another 24.5 percent said that he should "accept responsibility, but resign only after the war."

For certain, Netanyahu has voiced his disgust at US talking to Hamas.

It might suggest that perhaps even Trum can't really be seen to sanction ethnic cleansing and genocide, maybe the Arab solution might be a better one?

I'd say Netanyahu won't outlast his current term in Israel, but who knows? There is support within Israel for exterminating Gaza as it stands and Hamas.

This old deflection with the antisemite rubbish again. Also start a thread on the Syrian stuff if you want as this is the Hamas attack thread.

They have definitely committed war crimes and there are arrest warrants out for Bibi and Gallant. No doubt about it. The Genocide in Gaza is very real too.

As posted previously, Yoav Gallant gave the order. He's the one with an arrest warrant against him for war crimes.

Also, as previously posted, whilst the numbers fleeing the festival in their cars and shredded by Israeli attack helicopters (who reloaded and went back a second time) is not known - presumably because there was nothing identifiable left. But there were 70 cars. And they were civilians.
There was also an investigation of a house containing Israeli civilians - I think 18 - which was pounded by Merkava battle tanks. And it was found it was as a direct result of the Hannibal directive.

It must be really hard on the IDF with such difficult choices to make. Perhaps they were so traumatised they just had to anally rape a prisoner with an iron bar. Or murder Nuns and sheep. Even murdered three of their own surrendering hostages.

But yeh, such potentially understandable decisions.

So you don’t consider eye witness evidence to be, eh. Well, evidence.

The US has stated publicly that it "is not an agent of Israel". I'd say alleged War Criminal #1 blew a fuse.

The following explains how and why it happened.

    Haaretz:
"It's impossible not to appreciate the Qataris' brilliant diplomatic move last week. After Prime Minister Netanyahu returned intoxicated from his trip to Washington, convinced he controls President Trump, the Qataris made their move. They're sick of Israel, a wrench in the works of their regional plan, so they simply eliminated the middleman. Qatar called up Trump's special envoy for hostage affairs, Adam Boehler, and offered a dream deal: Get your five American hostages, including Edan Alexander, who is alive, almost for free.

Who says you need Israel? Let the U.S. and Hamas talk to each other directly" – Chaim Levinson

It's not surprising. Smotrich is also talking of ethnically cleansing Gaza by removing everyone in 6 to 12 months.

Also, it seems as though Israel is now desperate to regain political and physical control of Gaza and the ceasefire talks - now that the US is talking directly to Hamas (see below from Haaretz).

Of course, cutting off electricity to the whole of Gaza is collective punishment and a war crime. I'd imagine another few boxes of evidence are winging their way to the ICJ and the ICC as I type.

A Hamas spokesman said that the organization "has no problem" meeting with U.S. officials "because we understand that [the U.S.] has the power to pressure Israel." He added that talks to begin Stage 2 of the deal are underway, adding that Hamas set three conditions:

    1. An exchange of Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners
    2. Israel's complete withdrawal from Gaza
    3. and a commitment that Israel not restart fighting.

It was good to see a Distinguished Service Medal with Honour presented to the family of the late Private Billy Kedian.

Private Kedian was fatally injured by shrapnel after a mortar round fired by the Israeli-backed South Lebanese Milita exploded inside the Irish base at Barasheet on 31 May 1999.

Irish soldiers have been supporting peacekeeping efforts in Lebanon since 1978.

Those peacekeeping efforts have been discussed here previously. UNIFIL plays an important role on the border between Israel and Lebanon

It's a shame some people don't see it that way.

Zionists see Kedian and others as collaborators to be killed and neutralised. Their whole belief system is an anathema to democracy

As I ate my breakfast this morning I thought back to storm eowin here. We woke up to no power or water, we were without it for 5 days and it seemed like hell. But we had our house, could light a fire in the fireplace and with our gas cooker still feed ourselves.

Today in Gaza the Israelis have turned off the power, which in turn knocks out the water. They aren't allowing any aid or supplies in and most of the population are out in the open with little or no shelter.

You don't have to bomb or riddle people with bullets to commit war crimes. When you deliberately target civilians, men, women and children. Sick and vulnerable people. You are committing a heinous act, cruel and torturous behaviour. The world stands by with little more than a murmur on the news of what's going on there because the main bombing and shooting has stopped. But the aggression continues unabated. How can it be considered to be right?

Well then I disagree with that…

You see Gaza was a slum in 1985 (see here) with the Israelis effectively keeping their foot on the throat of the Palestinians. It was an apartheid state 40 years ago, and its still an apartheid state today. You will also note this was three years before the foundation of Hamas as well, hence the reason Hamas are a symptom.

You see there is only one of two ways to deal with the Palestinian problem (a phrase used in that video also)…

    1. You remove them through ethnic cleansing (or actual eradication as some Israeli ministers have said).
    2. You actually give them something, basically anything.

Seen as Israel have basically denied the second at every opportunity we're left with seeing the first play out.

How many Israelis have been killed by rockets launched by Hamas? Has there been a single injured?

Hell, even on the same page we've had a poster claim that the reason the largest number of child amputees in the world are in Gaza are due to Hamas rockets misfiring. Nothing to do with the fact Israel has leveled the place.

It would seem that the Gazans have more to fear from their own "resistance" force than the Israelis themselves no?
