Query on amp

Hi there,

I’m wondering if you can give me some recommendations , I just ordered 4 of the minx 22’s off you’s today but I’m having trouble selecting an amp….

it’s for a kitchen/dining/living area and the requirements are for it to take the 4 minx22’s and have a connection for a sub, my max budget is €450

I was looking at the wiim amp and the argon sa2 as they both have airplay and Spotify/ phone streaming would be the main function, but I’m hoping to connect a turn table in the future, would you recommend either of these amps or would I be better going the route of the Cambridge axr85 and adding the likes of a wiim mini down the line?Seen as I would have to wire the other amps in parallel?

Any recommendations would be appreciated

The Wiim Amp ticks pretty much all the boxes
It has a sub out, has an RCA input that you can connect a turntable to and will run the 4 Mini speakers. The App is very easy to use and performs very well.
(You just need to make sure the turntable you end of going for has a built in phono stage).

The Argon SA2 again a great little unit and the app for streaming is fantastic.
It has a built in phono stage for connecting a turntable but there is no sub out.

For connecting your speakers, you would just run a cable from each speaker back to the amp and double them up at the binding posts.

thanks for getting back so quick!

move done a lot of research on the wiim and it seems like it does tick all the boxes.

I have a record player already for the setup but it doesn’t have a phono stage built in, is there external ones that I could get for it to connect to the wiim?
