the FA Cup has been costly! With Mateta probably talking 2 weeks out, to let all the stitches bed in (usually they’re removed after around 10 days but after that they probably couldn’t risk the round opening again, even an elbow jumping for a header or clash of heads could maybe jeopardise the wound). I think Cunha may get longer given his history.

I’ve been sticking with palmer too long now so may bite the bullet. I was lucky to be honest I missed the deadline for last gw but was looking at getting both Cunha and Mateta in! I’ve all the chips so might play the Ass manager chip to get it out of the way ahead of the busy bench boost, wild card, free hit etc game weeks. Potentially spurs / Everton / West Ham manager starting this gw. Think I’ll scrape through with the gw29 without needing free hit but let’s see! I’m having a really poor season this year, sticking with out of form players too long and just leaving the deadwood drain away team value.

What's the story with Spence from Spurs? Know nothing about him or them. Was he only in because of all their injuries and is his place going again? Stats look good lately

I have a 0.6m price increase on Hall so may aswel cash in to get the 0.3m and see does it get me closer to getting Haaland into my team (not for Palmer).

Got Into the team back in Nov because of injuries but is only one of two or three players to come out of Nov/Dec/Jan with any credit. (Kulusevski and Grey been the others).

Was playing LB for the entire run as Udogie and Davies where injured. Perro has been RB but has played more minutes then any other outfield player in the league this season (bar maybe Bruno) so he badly in need of rest (was rested last week and Spence played RB)

Spence playing RB ahead of Perro tonight in the Europa league. Ange has to throw the kitchen sink at winning this to save his job so I expect he will rotate Spence and Perro for the rest of the season, from an FPl point of view Porro will prob play most of the league matches until Spurs get knocked out.

Anyone have a spreadsheet with the fixtures on it? Got to the time of year we need to start planning to give us deams of the super gameweeks, there's usually someone on here that had them, was it @Cartman78 ?

I updated the sheet from last year….used the best available fixtures I could find from Ben Crelin….I'll update and add again when things become a bit clearer

I thought the English FA had a rule of not calling up players that are serving a suspension for their club so I’m surprised to see Anthony Gordon in the squad.

What do people think about Mark Sutherns going to a new job that is with the official game ?

I believe he will be involved with the FPL game itself and any new offshoots.

It’s all very cloak and dagger at the minute but he said he has stopped creating content with immediate affect to start in his new role.

You’d have to imagine this will suit us (the slightly more obsessed FPL managers) than your ‘casual’ but that depends on his remit I suppose.

I know he always said that anything that moved managers away from the template was a good thing so I wonder will he try and achieve this now by adjusting the rules and points scoring system.

Fair play to him being able to turn his hobby into a career. I'm not sure he'll be allowed to make any big changes (even if he wants to), but it's nice to have a fan on the inside.
