Are any cruises departing Ireland for someone who can't fly?

McGinleys in Donegal had started doing cruises from Dublin just before covid - no idea if they ever got going again since.

    ETA here you go

But they only seem to have departures from Belfast. I'd imagine you'd have other choices from there as well

I wonder could you join a cruise that stops in Dublin?

Take a ferry to the UK and take a cruise from Southampton would be an option

How are you when it comes to seasickness? Cruises departing from Ireland can get a bit rougher than your usual Meditteranean type cruises so if that impacts you at all you might want to make sure you've some meds in advance.

I remember my mam and dad got onto one at Cobh and by the time they'd crossed the Bay of Biscay there were people clambering to get off to fly home.

What kind of cruise holidays are you interested in?

Theres only 11 itineraries departing and returning to Dublin till end of 2026 according to vacationstogo. Not cheap though. Most of them are just around the Ireland, more like a staycation on a boat, that would explain the price, LOL.

Couple of great itineraries with silversea (ultra-luxury cruise line) visiting iceland and Scotland, 14 days, but price from 9k pp.

If you're more into sun holidays and flying is a no no, then car+ferry to France/Spain and then cruise is the only option.
