Tesco Mobile App Removed from Google Store

Recently I changed phone and I noticed Tesco mobile app didn't transfer over so I contacted Tesco on the matter. They put it down to Google Play issue so I contacted them who confirmed that the Tesco mobile app was removed from Google Play Store but didn't elaborate further as to why. I contacted Tesco again and they know nothing about this and actually said this is incorrect but I checked on my daughter's account and it isn't there so it does appear to be gone. Does anybody know anything further on this.

Ya its definitely missing, we downloaded it in December to a new phone, definitely raise it as an issue with their customer care.

Nothing to do with the Tesco Mobile app - this is a feature that was in the UK version of the Tesco (not Tesco Mobile) app where you could store your credit/debit card details and use the app to pay for your shopping in-store (like Apple/Google Wallets).

I don't believe the Irish Tesco app ever had this functionality available - I dn't ever remember seeing it.

Useless reporting by the Irish "versions" of English sites - copy & pasting articles from their UK sister sites without even verifying if its applicable to Ireland
