After proposing the ending of birthright citizenship, Trump makes sure no one misunderstands how little he respects the Constitution.

Remember when Lindsey Graham said about Trump that "if we elect him, he will destroy us". I wonder does he think of that quote himself much? Trump has turned America in to a gaudy brash strip mall.

Trump now announcing that he's offering residency "gold card" visas for anyone paying 5 million dollars and creating jobs. Will suit a lot of his Russian buddies as an escape route, probably get Assad in too under a false ID.

I think Australia had something like this too years ago called the 888 visa, no integration required, just cash.

All about helping out the poor people apparently...

    #MEGA MAKE EUROPE GREAT AGAIN

It certainly reeks of a set up to invite in dodgy Chinese Russian and other other mafiosi - $5mill will be chicken feed to them and the job promises will disappear once Trump gets his hands on their cash - I would doubt money laundering checks will be applied either

Sounds a bit like the scheme Ireland had for over 11 years.

A programme offering a visa to non-EU nationals, in return for investment in the Republic of Ireland, is to be scrapped.

Established in 2012, it offers Irish residence in return for creating jobs.

Its nothing new guys, lots of countries have similar schemes to encourage investment.

'In February 2023, the Government abruptly closed the scheme with only a day's notice

. Nearly two years on, the full list of names of companies, public bodies and charities, who received €1.25 billion through the programme, remains hidden in State files'

Sounds like something seriously dodgy happened with that and it's being covered up.

    Possibly, I dont know.

It wouldnt surprise me though with the level of corruption and wastage in Ireland.

Maybe they used it to build some bike shelters.

Did Ireland say that Russian oligarchs would be eligible and that they know some very nice oligarchs at the same time that Ireland had sanctions in place against Russia for starting a war where they invaded a sovereign nation?

Because that's what Trump did. But good to know you feel there's a price on citizenship. Will be worth keeping in mind when talking about peoples right to live in particular countries.

Me old 401k after years of 20% returns is on the slide since Trump took office, Bitcoin even worse and inflation coming back! Who thought a n infamous failure in business would somehow be good for the US economy? The Idiocracy is almost complete. He is in the stone age with this quid pro quo , tit for tat, zero sum game view on world economics. The exact opposite is true, you invest in market , so they grow and become consumers and workforce.

This thing could go under in 6 months if people just do the right thing and buy nothing he sells. Don't buy a Tesla, don't charge at a supercharger, don't visit or repost twitter links, don't use starlink.

Break the bastàrd and with any luck it'll break him.

Ah that's impossible really, best you could do is have him fired as CEO but he'll always be a billionaire

Tesla is nothing without Musk's outlandish promises. He's knows that himself, hence his drive to gut the agencies that investigate his companies. He needs to get autonomous driving and robotaxis happening or the house of cards is crashing down.

The Purchase of twitter and various other projects like neuralink were financed off the back of Tesla stock. The stock drops, he can't make repayments and the businesses go under.

He'll never be poor but he'll be just another rich guy. There'll be hundreds richer, which makes him irrelevant. He'll sit alongside Trump as another failure.

Tesla's entire valuation is based on the cult of Musk, have they ever made a profit? Taking 500$ deposits for cars to be launched in 3 years time and then putting that through the books as a 150k purchase.....

Pete Hegseth doing Trumps bidding. He's going after General Milley.

It's being reported that Milley is going to have his security detail removed, portraits of him will be removed and an investigation is going to be launched to see if his 4th star should be removed.

This announced on same day the White House is taking over deciding what news organizations can attend key press briefings. That was under control of President's team before, Trump is changing things so it is.

So in short, Trump is controlling the media and targeting a general (retired) who called him on his BS. It's all very North Korea America isn't it.

    Well done on

    1. Answering a direct question on somebody else's behalf and
    2. Not actually answering the question itself

Perfect example of what Trump sympathizing posters are getting called out on here.

    https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/feb/25/musk-doge-employees-resign

More than 20 civil service employees resigned on Tuesday from Elon Musk’s so-called “department of government efficiency” (Doge), saying they were refusing to use their technical expertise to “dismantle critical public services”.

“We swore to serve the American people and uphold our oath to the constitution across presidential administrations,” the 21 staffers wrote in a joint resignation letter, a copy of which was obtained by the Associated Press. “However, it has become clear that we can no longer honor those commitments.”

The employees also warned that many of those enlisted by Musk to help him slash the size of the federal government under Donald Trump’s administration were political ideologues who did not have the necessary skills or experience for the task ahead of them.

Doge employee Katie Miller seemed to ridicule the staffers who resigned, saying: “These were full remote workers who hung Trans flags from their workplaces,” in a separate post on X.

BTW, Katie Miller is Stephen Millers wife.

That is the most outrageous, indecent thing I have seen from him. It is disgusting. I would like to express myself more strongly but I cannot find the words. Presumably the Trumpites are going to tell us its a joke and we have no sense of humour.

Uhh. It's what, 6 weeks into 47s term. This video seems to me would have taken a fair bit of time and money to put together? All the Eloon facial stuff, I'm sure there's a soundtrack too (didn't watch it with the sound on.) Must've cost some money.

So, was it started prior to him taking office? Just absolute freaking madness. Golden statues.

It's probably 30 mins with an AI generator.

Gimme 20 mins and i could have a video of you destroying it godzilla style.

saw the video. The first thing that crossed my mind is what the ordinary Muslim/Islamist would think about it?. Imagine the place is built on the homes/ Palestinian land and the Palestinians will only be allowed to ‘ observe/look at it from a distance’. And they accepting it all.!!!!!! What a target for any group that resent it

    This is a key point.

Teslas valuation is running at something like a 150:1 or 200:1 P/E ratio - Car manufacturers run at more like a 7 or 8 to 1 P/E . Tech companies sit at maybe 40:1.

The gap to Tesla from those baselines is entirely people believing Musks hype and bullsh!t - "This time next year we'll have full automation" , "everyone will have robo-cars earning them money while they sleep" etc. etc.

Now more & more people are seeing the "real" Musk via DOGE- A deranged bullsh!t artist , less and less of them are going to believe that Tesla can ever do the things he claims.

Sales are plummeting , from a backlash to Musk sure but also because there are multiple cheaper/better alternatives available in the marketplace. Hard to see how Tesla recovers those Sales volumes.

Even if Tesla stock price were to drop back into the sort of P/E range that Technology companies run at , it would take 60/70% off the stock price.

Musk has huge debts, entirely backed by the value of his Tesla stock.

If the stock price craters , then all those debts are instantly underwater and no longer secured.

    And Musk is done.

He'll never be "poor" for sure but his ability to influence the world as he is right now will be gone forever.

Would AI not knock out that lunacy rapidly?

    It's beyond unhinged.

Definitely - That's a few days effort at the absolute most using AI Video tools and more likely only a few hours.

But even if it took a huge team thousands of collective hours to produce , the key issue is that fact that the President of the United States posted something so utterly appalling and disgusting thinking it made him look good.

It's not a re-tweet either , he posted it directly , so he can't claim the usual excuse of "I didn't watch it I just saw the title and shared".

So this was created by someone is his orbit , they sent it to him and then he decided to send out the tweet/truth.

Callous and Insensitive doesn't even begin to come close…

    I agree,

I'd also add it is beyond creepy. Way beyond creepy.

You'll notice that the video doesn't show any Arabs actually living there..

They get to come out of their cave and see how awesome it is and AI-Elon gets to throw a few dollars in the air for them to fight over , but no sign of anyone remotely Arab looking actually living there.

Also, I just turned on the sound on the video - Jesus f*cking Christ…!!!!

"Trump Gaza shining Bright , no more tunnels , no more fear , Trump Gazas finally here."

Reminds me of the old question about Nixon: "Would you buy a used car from this man?" National Lampoon cover.
