Sky Broadband: IPV6 failing on TP-Link Deco XE75 router

Using FTTH (SIRO) with SKY router (SR203), I have a good & stable IPV4 & IPV6 connection. All working good.

When I switch to my own TP-Link Deco XE75 router, I do get a stable IPV4 connection, however, IPV6 is not connecting. I tried different config options in the Deco Router for IPV6, but no success. Is someone else using a TP-Link Deco (or other) router on SKY Fibre broadband and having a stable IPV6 connection? Can you share your config details for IPV6?

    Hi @reinhard76

I am not familiar with the TP-Link Deco but I do have it working with a Cisco ISR-1111 router,

There are two things you could try.

If you are getting a IPv6 connection that means you are on a connection that also supports IPoE (DHCP) wan as well as PPPoE

instead of using PPPoE try setting the WAN interface to DHCP

    VLAN should remain at 10

hostname or OPTION-61 if you have it should be anything@skydsl|somepass

MTU can be set to 1500

    IPv6 should be link local

and IPv6 PD (Prefix delegation) should be turned on,

If you have an option of setting the size of the V6 prefix you are requesting, it should be /56

IPv6 subnet mask for your LAN interface should be /64

That character between DSL and some is | (Pipe) and not a capital L or I, on a windows keyboard this is shift and the key to the left of Z

Give that a go and see how you get on.
