Freenow problems

    I have been charged twice for a taxi which never showed up. The app said I was on a journey but I can only assume that the driver scammed me and picked up someone else..

    So get onto FreeNow and ask them to refund you?

    Just delete the app and don't use it. Many of us have done this already and still survive for the odd taxi that we use. Since they all take card, it is a lot better as that was a main reason before for me.

    Bolt and Uber have good coverage I have found. And if possible direct hail off the street. But Free Now are awful and robbing both the driver and you.

    Calling who? The driver??? That's no good to you. Get onto FreeNow via the app, explain the situation and they should refund you fairly pronto. I've only ever had one or two issues with charges over the years and they've always sorted them very quickly.
