Was wondering who's getting more US Title matches, Michin or LA Knight?

Yeah sounds like it, announce it and beat down a heel then **** off

Still don't think he'll work Mania this year 😕

Wonder what storylines he will ruin this time? Still cant get over the debacle of the Netflix debut..

    Maybe interaction with Melo???

Tbh the whole final boss name always thought was stupid, even though I enjoyed most of his heel run last year.

Think it's confirmed he's filming some new movie around wm,

    OK

That was tense and gives the EC another boost

Jesus can the Rock just condense his promos down. That was painful and not entirely clear what he was asking Cody.

I imagine it’ll go the route of Cody saying no and the rock then stacking the deck against Cody.

At least they’re not doing Solo Cody at EC. Pointless match.

    The lifeboat has set sail

I do love the Rock coming in, hotshotting himself into the title picture making the Elimination Chamber match kinda pointless.

The plans changing will be hard for some in that Chamber match to deal with. Love it.

Wrestling is better with some animosity behind the scenes.

Can see The Rock been special guest ref/enforcer or some ballax instead of been put in the title match at Mania

Personally hope he appears in some capacity

I think this is quite obviously going the route of Cody going heel. Heel Cody vs Cena at WM, Cody spends a year doing nothing of consequence feuding with nobodies like Yeet Uso & Damien Priest. Roman wins Rumble 2026, Cody vs Roman main events WM and then its Roman vs Rock at Summerslam 2026 in that massive football stadium in Minneapolis. All this while ratings continue to sink like the Titanic and crowds dwindle

Yeah maybe we finally get a Cena heel turn after him already calling his shot for EC. Loses again and sells out to Rock to get into the title match.

Caught up on Smackdown. At the very least I had heard about the negative backlash to the Rock promo before seeing it.

Was still a mess. The Rock is in the awkard spot of having a reputation outside of wrestling (including as being on the TKO board) and trying to be a wrestling character. So that promo was just back and forth a mess, and honestly speaks to any appearance he's done after the post-Mania Raw. The only other reason I could think of it being such a mess of a persona is that at some point since Mania he's realised he can't (or doesn't want) to wrestle a proper match anymore.

That being said, I think you can at least explain all the corporate business guy Rock stuff as him trying to butter Cody up to be his champion or get him to drop his guard, if they wanted to go that way they could.

A heel corporate Cody could be interesting but I'm not sure there is many faces that are on that level. Cody could reject him and the Rock picks a new heel corporate face. Punk would be the most interesting if he sold his soul for a Wrestlemania Main Event. Cena could kinda work but also it's more transparent that he doesn't need the Rock to get what he wants in WWE.

I'm not sure, it's interesting but it's interesting in the same way that when you watch a movie and hear that it was ripped the shreds in the editing suite. Like I'm thinking more about the behind the scenes of this stuff than whatever actual story they're trying to tell and that's generally not a good thing imo.

The final boss stuff he did last year was great. This is just a confused mess.

Agreed, is he just done with with the bloodline stuff now in favour of corporate rock

Absolutely. I'm still intrigued as to what will actually happen on Saturday mind you 🤣

Rock's involvement seems to have come about at short notice, in that they didn't think he was going to be around for Mania.

As good as Cody has been, the WWE has missed the Roman Reigns with his Bloodline personality, going into Mania and how it could carry so much in between.

Drew, Seth, Punk and Owens have all done well during the year but none have the Cody finish his story momentum to make the big match at Mania must see.

Hopefully the Rock's involvement will help create that, by Cody or someone else aligning with the Rock it could make Mania that bit more important and carry right through the summer, maybe even longer.

Babyface Cody is a huge merch seller and that's the reason I don't think they'll turn him heel yet

They have a few options for who aligns with The Rock.

Smackdown have low key built a fairly solid tag division. Seems ripe for a multi team match at Mania. DIY vs Street Profits VS MCMG VS Pretty Deadly vs Legado Del Fantasma. Maybe throw in a team like Melo and Miz who teamed together recently too. Would be a good match.

Very good segment with the men's chamber contenders (bar Cena). Not sure who's going to win, I honestly hope they don't go with Cena at this point, he's not even part time really so bar the nostalgic stuff and the possibility of number 17 I have zero interest in it. Unlikely to be Rollins with the Roman stuff unresolved. Maybe that's where Punk's favour from Heyman comes in?

I'd have no interest in Logan Paul and I don't think they're lining it up either, though that was exquisite trolling of the crowd. They seem to be angling towards Punk vs Paul moreso which is also just...meh. I'd prefer to have Punk vs Cody personally.

Drew vs Cody is one I would have no issue with but do they see it as Mania worthy? With Rock involved and those shenanigans... Maybe Drew as the corporate stooge?

Priest isn't winning the chamber. There's zero reason. Frankly they'd have been better putting Solo or one of the Bloodline in there.

The Jade Cargill stuff is surely coming to a head tonight. Between the last few weeks and the kick off show something is definitely going to occur. Honestly with the women's as long as it's not Liv (we've had her and Rhea for months) or Bayley then I don't really mind. Just for the sheer upset value I'd love Roxanne to get the win.

Rock stuff was better. Really sinister having a belt with that writing and the date of Dusty's death on it. It's a bit ham fisted but I'm still trying to figure out how it all fits together with Mania so I guess it's not that bad?

We know what we're getting with Sami and KO anyways, it'll be a banger of a match.
