Less and less interest in football and this is just expediting the process.

No changes at half time as the first half performance was successful.

That actuall effort and talent from Dorgu will be beaten out of him soon enough.

It depends on the level of support Amorim has with INEOS. Amorim is their guy, their pick so it reflects on them directly. Their record is not great so far: backed ETH, sacked ETH. Pursued Ashworth, sacked Ashworth. If they end up where they hire Amorim and sack him inside the same season it will be completely valid to question if the guys making those decisions are competent.

So, they'll really want Amorim to work out. But if Amorim loses confidence, or INEOS lose confidence in him then he'll go. He really, really needs to pick up some results quickly. I don't buy the argument that INEOS are really patient or have written the season off.

It goes way above the squad imo.

You have owners as leeches who have no interest in the club apart from making money, chaotic management at board level for 10-15 years resulting in inflated signings, salaries, etc leading to unbalanced squad. Players with a lack of talent rewarded with bumper contracts, players signing for United thinking they've made it rather than feeling they've made it by winning titles.

New ownership coming in cutting costs, trimming the squad - it's not a nice place to be.

This is the result of it.

Should get the Schweinsteiger treatment and just booted a million miles away and removed as being anything resembling a footballer. Disgrace him.

The manager needs to get the blame for some of this but if a professional footballer can’t even do the fcuking basics then that’s not on the manager. Onana making it look like a wonder save only to parry it straight to the goalscorer, keeper completely should have done better but the defenders should too. There’s absolutely no intensity or getting into their face we must be the softest team in the premier league when it comes to physicality. The only physicality we had was Martinez and he was just a hatchet man doing lads just because he wanted to. A professional footballer should be able to adapt for any formation. He may not be the best in the position or formation but he should still be able to do the basics. I’d genuinely like to see him play a few new youngsters at least they’ll give 100% which this lot can’t even be bothered to do. You’d wonder if it’s paralysis through analysis or are they just not arsed at all, I reiterate though they are professional footballers with years of experience and if they can’t even do the very basics that are thought when you’re under 12’s then any manager will struggle with them. Moyes, LVG, Mourinho, ETH and now Amorin are not all bad managers. I hope they stick with this guy and let him weed out the dead wood over a season, it’s thankless when you’ve players on 300 K plus a week leaching off the club and that’s not on any manager that’s on the board for signing off on transfers managers make. Managers don’t just go along with their revolut card and sign players, it gets / should get approved by the board or committee or Director of football on the price and wages but it seems this doesn’t exist in the club and they just sign has beens. Casemiro and Varane are examples, would a club like Madrid really sell them if they thought they were still offering something?

I never understand this argument. Every manager has gotten pretty much a brand new group of players. It’s surely an identical argument that

‘What are the chances all 60 players signed since Fergie are all bad eggs & bad players’?

It’s far more sustainable to keep changing managers than continually buying entirely new teams. Almost none of these played for Ole. Same before that and so on.

No matter how far United go, I'd never want them to be owned by a state like Qatar.

Take Bruno off set pieces, for the love of god.

Brink another shite corner then throws his arms up on the air, hilarious

The work off the ball and the body language of the players since the 2nd half started is terrible.

Stick a fork in this one.

It's like they won the lotto. United have been a retirement home for a number of players ever since Fergie left. Sickening really.

Those gobshites have given up from what I can see. Making Beto look like Drogba.

Casemiro needs to be taken off here.

Bruno having a complete stinker in the left side 10 position. Doesn't want to know about the defensive side of the game and has been caught multiple times on the ball.

Dalot may as well not be on the pitch as well.

Onana really is a terrible keeper. Just booted it out of play.

If Amorim had been in this role since May, he'd be down there with Leicester and Ipswich, but still playing 3-4-3.

I wonder would Olé come in for a few games again

That was miles out of play. Are the officials having a laugh here.

As I said there, look at Everton. No hopers a couple of months ago. Now look great. You can't tell me Ugarte and Casemiro can't play to the level of 35 year old Gueye and James Garner. That Hojlund isn't capable of playing to the level of previous clogger Beto.

Could go through many more but ignoring the evidence right in front of us isn't going to lead to improvement. Stubbornly sticking to something not working is one of the main signs of bad management.

As someone who really likes RA and what he wants to do I'm extremely disappointed that he's not willing to make more changes. This is toxic and the only change he can think of is bring Bruno back into midfield and pop Garnacho on.

How is he looking at Maguire and Dot today and thinking "that'll do me"
