Eyes weeping and watery. Where to go?

My eyes can be wet to the point that I'm using wet wipes to wipe away excess. Is this a job for a GP or an eye doctor or something like an eye test with Specsavers?

Could be that your tear duct(s) are fully or partially blocked, so the tears aren't draining away properly.
I don't think an optician will be much help. Your GP can refer you to an ophthalmologist who can test the duct by using a syringe to push saline solution into the duct at the top, and checking whether it comes out into your nose. It's a bit strange but fairly painless.
If blocked, the solution seems to be surgery to create a new duct.

Ive same issue.
My GP told me to go to opticians and I did go two days ago.
Optician is referring meto a eye specialist under my health insurance. He said I may need that small procedure on the eyelid.
