is there a product that waterproofs concrete blocks that can be applied BEFORE weathershield paint? Or is the weathershield a decent enough product to protect?

I have used both but not together .

Thompsons Water Seal Clear 5Ltr to seal absorment brickwork.

Weathershield ad painting lighthouses is suppost to be good for exposed places.

I’ve used Thompson’s on a flat concrete garage roof and it lasts about 5 years before needing to be done again. It’s an excellent product.

thanks, but I’m looking for a waterproofer that can be overpainted with a coloured weathershield

or maybe a couple of coats weathershield paint is enough (it’s a shed using blocks on the lower half ) to make it less porous

I always use Dulux stabilising primer, expensive but worth it.
