Is it just me or does anyone else here think the price of tights has gone way up?

    A pack of 2 pairs of black tights in Tesco is €6 for instance.

    Aldi and Lidl do cheaper ones sometimes but they never last very long.

    Also there seems to be less choice of tights. Dunnes and TeSco used to have more tights than they have on display nowadays.

    Yes they have gone up, prices higher. quality non existent many don't survive the first wash and also the sizing has changed, lidl is the worst for sizing by the way, tesco are the best for washing, dunnes is so/so, sometimes aldi marks theirs down but they are literally single use. Only option a trip to Europe into a textile house to grab some decent ones.

    Yes would not be so bad if they lasted longer but they do not :( .

    And where would these textile houses be in Europe?

    Zeeman has a bit of a selection, they are all over Germany, Poland seems to have some as well not sure on the shops names there. There used to be 3 ladies who ran a tights store in ireland online the tights were really nice
