Single people get offered a flat based on age no of points how long your on the list this applys to women gay men straight men I don't see what business it is if someone is gay in regard to a council flat eg all single people are treated equally unless if you are on disabled you may get offered a ground floor flat

But people who created this debt will tell you that that is not a problem as they go on to create more debt ... for others to sort out.

So the Gay community struggled for years, rightly so, to be treated the same as everyone else and now you want to use your sexuality to make you different from the public just to get a house!

if the post isn’t trolling to stir hatred against the people they claim to be then there is a point about housing and community for elderly gay men.

Some might have no familial connections and no community network. I have a relative who has talked about getting older and the worry of being alone and being in a home.

Don’t let this thread take a toxic turn.

First and foremost we definitely need more supports for elderly to live in the community and within that there’s a need so that different communities within that feel supported.
