Is part 3 any good it felt it came out of nowhere. The cynic in me feels like Spotify were looking to them to boost their streams and subscribers and they went back to the golden goose.

2 millions streams on part 3 already and climbing.

Part 3 is a lot more sinister I think. It's completely bonkers.

I'm really enjoying The Traitors. A fun January watch! Plus Call the Midwife is always a welcome return in the new year too.

I've 2 episodes of Black Doves left to watch too.

I've also been listening to Richard Osman's 'The Rest is Entertainment' podcast and listening to a comedy radio panel show 'You Heard it Here First' on BBC Sounds to pass the dreary January commutes. 🙂

I love the rest is entertainment podcast. It’s really interesting hearing behind the scenes on how some tv shows work.

We're watching call the midwife too, but starting into the penguin tonight, been looking forward to this one.

Gangs of London season 3 is due back soon too, as is the night agent, which wasn't bad.

I've also been watching Pete Wicks' new Dogs Trust show, For Dog's Sake. A great watch, albeit, like all animal shows, can be emotional.

Loved The night agent. Gangs of London started well for me but then got a bit far fetched I’m still gonna watch season 3 tho.

Off the telly is another good BBC Sounds podcasts you might enjoy.

I’m currently watching Season 47 of America. Getting a bit far fetched now. They just brought back the main villian from season 45 and he has an evil techy sidekick called Elon.

Can’t see it getting picked up for a 48th season at this rate.

Watching The Penguin. On episode 4. Don't like all the superhero nonsense films or shows so pleasantly surprised at how good this is. Granted there's no superheroes in this ha.

I watched "The Wolf Man" in the cinema last night.

Defo a movie of two halves, first half very suspenseful and tense and second half paint by numbers monster movie.

5/10 I'd say, definition of it was grand.

Saw “Flight Risk” in cinema tonight. Really enjoyable popcorn movie. Short at 90 minutes but good for pacing.

    6/10

Just finished watching Landman, it was alright. Billy Bob as usual is the best thing in it.

Going to start a book I got for Christmas called Extraordinary GAA People.

We finished season 2 of the night agent on Netflix last night, not as good as Day of the Jackal or Black Doves but enjoyable popcorn secret agent stuff nonetheless. I Believe its been renewed for a third season so will watch that when its available.

Have Alien Romulus set up for watching tonight. Love the Alien movies so looking forward to finally seeing this one.

We are powering through House of Cards on Netflix at the moment and mostly enjoying it. Getting close to the time when Kevin Spacey was unceremoniously dropped, the final series gad a lot fewer episodes than previous seasons.

I'm trying to finish all the CSI episodes on Netflix before it departs on 28th Feb as well, it;s a challenge! 22 episodes to go

It (house of cards) fell off a cliff towards the end unfortunately. First 2 or 3 seasons were great though.

I'm not really getting to see anything at the moment as my Mrs & daughter have the TV tied up watching that awful love island thing every night!!

To be honest, I only watched series 1-3 first time around because I lost interest but we find it hard sometimes to agree on something to watch and OH had never seen it so we gave it a whirl. It's definitely not as good now as at the start (we're most of the way through series 4)

Watching Under the Banner of Heaven on Disney plus - very good.

Went to see the new Bridget Jones film. I enjoyed it but there wasn't as many laughs as before, there was a lot more sad moments around processing grief. There was lots of sniffles and tissues rustling and drying eyes! It brought a big wave of nostalgia back to me to regards the first instalment. I hadn't even done my junior cert when the first film was out. Everyone looked a lot older, I'm older and just felt sad about the passing of time but then we're privileged to be alive and be able to look back on all the great times. It was just not what I was expecting. You expect belly laughs at the silly situations and there was a few of those but it was bittersweet.

Yes a friend went to see it last weekend and said it was quite sad in places. I worked out that I had read the book but not seen the film so I know what the sadness is about but I'm sure I'd still be one of the snifflers if I go to see it in the cinema!

My Mrs is going to see it tonight, I'll tell her to be well armed with hankies!! She's already on an emotional knife edge at the moment with her folks so this may break the dam so to speak!!

Yeah, it is worth seeing. First 20 mins a bit slow to start but it's setting up the whole story really. I must confess I was one of the snifflers. I eventually had to just give in and take my tissues out and when I gave in so did my friends ;-) the ladies in front remarked that they never thought they'd be crying at a Bridget Jones film! Definitely hankies at the ready.

In lieu of the new Daredevil series started I finally started season 3 to prepare for it and oh my god it’s such a good watch. Can’t believe it took me this long to get around to it. I’m hooked.
