Not with a .17 but faster lighter .17 pellet will flatten nicely Id say…

Thats what I am wondering. Will it shoot flatter, further and faster than a .22. With less wind drift. Will it have enough energy and be accurate enough at maybe 60 yds.

Had a Weihrauch HW95. No problems shooting out to 45 yards, crows and rabbits. Not sure about 60 yards, that's a fair distance

I am using a 32 ft lb air gun.

32ft lb will flatten crows with breast or head shots to a handy 50/60y wind does be the main issue rather than killing power if you get used to pellet drops using a range finder you could stretch to 70-80y in calm conditions,The biggest challenge I found with shooting them around a farm yard is once you drop 2 or 3 they get very cute and it can be a game of patience and concealment to get the dead crows comrades to come in.
i use a 32ft lb .22 it kills them very dead I can assure so the .17 should be just as good with the benefit of shooting flatter.

Do you know of anyone with a .17 calibre air rifle that shoots crows with it.

I’m afraid I don’t minktrapper, not many people in my area seem to shoot air rifles and the one or two I know use .22’s

A 177 pellet will kill a crow every bit as good as a 22 pellet just hit them in the head. I don't use one myself I've a 22 air rifle 30flb

The head is a very small target. A body shot increases the chances of a kill greatly.

Loads of videos of people on YouTube doing it. Fire away but keep the ranges short.
