The thing is it isn't pseudo-psychology but the real thing. People are trained to use this language and people who use it most likely have gone to some form of therapy so giving somebody a hard time for using it really is not a thing you should do.

Davy Fitz has been finding stuff "unreal" for years also, so he has.

Never thought I'd hate any expression more than "going forward" but the increasing habit of saying "reach out to" rather than to contact someone absolutely freaks me.

We need to "have a conversation" is the new phrase of choice now, instead of "we need to discuss", or "talk about."

I m on a journey it means nothing. I read stan as a weirdo fanatic as in the Eminem song .

Fan just means I really like Beyonce's music insert your favourite singer here .it's more positive. Fans have been around since the 60s .

Phone the guard,s to more accurate..

    I. Identify as meaningless psycho babble .maybe you are straight gay or bi . Look in the mirror that's what you are . Wear a dress if you want or not.if you are 6ft tall with a beard do you think someone is going to think you are a woman .

Every article I read on music websites says the word Stan instead of fan or swiftie if you like Taylor swift.

I know over time words fall out of use due to trends fashion or being politically correct.

The word negro is no like longer used in newspaper. .if you listen to old radio programs on BBC radio they use old words slang no longer in use

They do but "having a conversation" is presently the preferred expression for people needing to discuss something. Have you not noticed this?

I may have heard it without noticing. If some people prefer saying one thing over another, let them at it. It doesn't cause me any harm.

Does confusing 'presently' and 'currently', make the list?

Did you misunderstand the thread title by any chance? No one said it causes anyone any harm, not sure what you're on about there.

"What I would say" usually followed by what they do say directly after

Community everyone is in one ,eg the traveler community, the LGBT community , so do you get a medal or an id card when you join .Tabloid speak no one uses these words in real life

    Love rat ,

Sex romp, ring of steel, mercy dash page 3 stunner, Emmerdale star ,

If you are an actor in a soap you are not a star .

Not something being said in this instance, however, your misuse of punctuation and random spacing makes majority of your posts unreadable.

And of course when any of them are interviewed, every sentence begins with "Look" and there's always the obligatory "we'll keep the head down, work hard for de rest of de "champinship" and we'll be dere or dereabouts like"

Someone who talks on a podcast and says something obviously wrong .eg well known writer says musicians can no longer make money .

People are paying 100 dollars for one ticket to a concert. Oasis can sell out arenas in a few hours .Someone is making a lot of money .Taylor swift earned 2 billion dollars for the eras tour . Popular pop singers can earn more money than. ever . In the age of YouTube and TikTok people value the live experience of music.

Sorkin forgot to say America leads the world in mass shootings .

There is a reason why they say that and it comes down to sales of music and streaming services. When CDs came out artists suddenly got a massive boost in sales as people replaced their records with CDs. Once streaming came of age the royalties they were getting paid dropped massively. New artists can't make the same money as artists did before when starting out as royalties are way less even down to the music in films pay less for the use of songs and soundtrack album sales don't amount to much now. There is a reason why the likes of Bob Dylan sold their entire music catalogue

Famous artists can sell expensive concert tickets but Ticketmaster and insurance companies take a huge chunk of that money. That is the big names so new/smaller artists can't sell as many tickets to make money. Merchandise sales at gigs was the main earner for most artists on tour but selling albums was part of that so reduced income again.

People are not attending more gigs and there are way less music venues about to play in since I have been about.

Is there even one event a week with new artists starting out? There is a huge drop of income to musical acts if you are talking about theater and shows it is totally different matter

    "Way, shape or form"

Ticketmaster doesn't own large arenas in the UK France Japan Paris I understand if you are Springsteen and someone offers you one hundred million for rights to your music you may take it i think music is like movies famous actors tom cruise make most of the money pop singers like ariane.grande make millions while the average indie band struggle to pay the cost of touring . The top ten percent make most of the money The average actor used to make a lot of money from residuals if they were in s show for five seasons now payment is less since TV shows sometimes only last ten episodes on netflix or other streaming apps

I don't care if someone is gay straight or bi

I can see no point in someone using the pronoun they does he she not cover every person in terms of being make or female
